While not a direct celebration, I'll be spending October in a Hornblower state of mind. On following_sea, I've taken over rec duties for the month, and I've got about five planned (one to hopefully come up today).

For years after Hornblower was cancelled and A&E dropped the "Arts" from their name, I was annoyed at them. I said I would never forgive them for what they'd done.
