(no subject)
I just got back from Depeche Mode Nacht am Jos Fritz cafe, which I think is the coolest fucking cafe I've ever been to. The thing about it is that you can be as weird as you want and no one will flinch. A friend, whom I met two weeks ago at liek 8am after the club.., said that Jos Fritz is much like Berlin. Fucking Germans really love Berlin and so do I even though Ive never been there!!!!
The thing about Depeche Mode, it's actually quite enjoyable to hear all night as long as it's Depeche Mode Nacht, and yes, I danced like awesome to "Enjoy the Silence." And the 10-minute mix evoked a span of gothish depressed-teenager dancing to ecstatic hoyt dancing. And someone was taking pictures of me so I was either awesome as fuck or funny as fuck, both of which I am comfortable with!!!!
Tomorrow Strasbourg - just under two hours by train. And apparently es ist ein GAR schoenes Stadt. A friend whom I ran into earlier tonight was talking about cool places to go (I fucking love it when Germans actually speak GERMAN to me; (semicolon) I even had a dream where I kept talking to someone and they wouldn't reply in German even though they were echt Deutsch. But come on, I can say things like, "als man auf deutsch denken kann, der so schoen deutsch reden kann." and how ridiculously smooth is this: someone whose birthday it was asks "how goes your German learning?" and i say "Ich kann nicht so viel sagen, aber ich kann 'Herzlichen Glueckwunsch zum Geburtstag' sagen." (I cant say much but I can say Happy Birthday ... but it sounds much cooler auf Deutsch)). So Strasbourg is closeby, and French-speaking (unfortunately? I just don't enjoy hearing French, am I a bad person?), so... word to traveling.
So .. much Denglisch has been spoken. And much fun to be had in the near future since I did my homework. Yess.
