This year has been eventful so far.
Lots of things going on this year.
A few months back we moved to a new place in Alameda. It's a pretty nice one bedroom apt just off of Park St. We've been doing stealth upgrades to the place. Upgrading the electrical, put in a granite countertop, working on installing some cabinets, etc. It's fun to do that kind of stuff again. Been buying most of the materials at used architecure re-use stores, a great place to find materials for super cheap prices!
We were going to head out to Sac town for the 4th of July celebration but my truck decided to die just outside of Woodland on I-80. I got a tow back home and over the next few days figured out that the cap, rotor and ignition coil all decided to crap out at the same time. Changed out all the parts, truck is back on the road. Need to get back out to Sac sometime soon and make up for lost party time!!
Fanime was good this year, didn't do any cosplaying, ran short on time. Managed to actually make a couple items for sale this year at the con. Rayne and I sewed up a Chain Chomp and Bob-omb plushie. They are pretty cool, unfortunately, no one bought them. Oh well. With the exp gained, will make more and better for next year!!
Military Vehicle show in Spring was good too. Didn't buy much and sold a few more items, so less stuff sitting around gathering dust.
I know there has been more going on, just need to think about it and keep at gettiong back to the net and updating stuff. :P
