[Bern will be wandering around aimlessly near the edges of the forest along the river, surveying the damage the earthquake made. That will be when she hears strange noises. Noises that animals don't normally make.]

Oh. Is something interesting happening again? This day just keeps getting better and better, like an endless refill.

[ Down from the sky floats a Power, having heard her musing.]

You are unholy. [It points it's spear at her, before launching forward with a thrust.]

ooc: It's no problem o/!

[She smirks, just watching it come towards her.] Unholy? My what a way to describe me. [As soon as it gets close enough she vanishes from sight, only to reappear about a couple yards above him] Not that I can honestly vouch for being the opposite.

I speak the truth, Witch. [Honestly, it's only by sheer chance that he hits on the truth of what she is-- the Power would call anything a witch, really.

Sensing that she is more than he could handle, he makes a quick gesture, calling his brothers in arms. In total, 3 more Powers appear , flanking each other.]

We will eliminate the sin of your being.

Hama. [It's a basic light spell directed at her, although they do all cast it at once.]

[She isn't shocked by it calling her a witch. Lower demons should know their place after all and recognize her as a higher being than them instantly. Once she sees three more appear she begins cackling and quickly vanishes again when the light spell is cast. However, she does not reappear.]

Pffhiyahahaha! That's fine. At least you're being honest with yourself rather than letting pride get in the way. [Her voice is incredibly taunting and comes from nowhere.

Well that's only half the truth. After she mocks the group she reappears about 3 yards above them. Only now she is standing atop a boulder, floating in midair over their body. The floating doesn't last long as the boulder quickly falls, aiming for their head, as she jumps off and continues to keep flight.]

I don't normally fight like this. But just for you? I'll smash boulders all over your heads until the boulder starts to break apart. By then you'll be reduced to a puddle of meaty flesh and guts. You would all make a wonderful midnight snack to drink with a cup of dried plum

Impure! [ If it was in their capacity to be frightened, the Powers would be, but they're holy messengers of a God, and this is what they train for.

None of their training however, stops one of them from getting smashed to bits by the boulder. Unfortunately for Bern, there doesn't seem to be anything left of the Power, no blood, armor, or flesh.

The remaining three rally and quickly cast a new spell:]

Zionga!

[Bolt lightning arcs towards Bern, crackling the air.]

[She quickly moves to vanish again, but as she dissolves a bolt of lightning strikes her. There is no sign of her present afterward. But that doesn't mean much. A simple little lightning spell? How can something so asinine kill a witch.

The silence doesn't last long. She appears again a few yards over them, standing atop the same boulder that had crashed the last being. This time, rather than taunt them, she launches the boulder straight at them instead of just letting it drop down.

Guess who isn't happy about being hit with a lightning bolt.]

[ Only one of them manages to sidestep the boulder. Seeing that his comrades have been defeated, he puts on a burst of speed into the forest, trying to get back to the device that summoned him for support.]

[Oh, she's not letting you get away that easily. As soon as he starts moving she begins pursuing him immediately. If he gets too far from her sight she might throw up a barrier to make sure he can't escape the forest all together. For now though she can keep up.]

[ Powers aren't built for the speed, more defense, which is why he's managed to survive her onslaught-- if only one of them. He flies into a cave, and a split second later there's a flash of light, accompanied by a second power emerging from the cave with him.

They have their shields up, in a defensive position, protecting the entrance of the cave.]

[As soon as she sees the flash of light from the cave she stops, simply looking at it with a devious smirk.] So that's where you're coming from. You know, making a closed room with your bodies isn't really the most effective method. [she cackles] Look at me, calling it a closed room. It doesn't even deserve an inferior honor like that!

[With those taunts she vanishes yet again.]

[...Then she reappears again. Only she isn't in front of the guards.

She's floating over the cave entrance and the guards, with three boulders. They're a bit smaller than the ones she was throwing before, but it should be more than enough.]

Ahahyahaha! Now that I'm at full power even something like this is child's play. Who cares about helping the Malnosso and their stupid enclosure. This is much more fun! Die you worthless pieces of flesh.

[As soon as she finishes the boulders are quickly tossed, heading for the guards.]

[Splat. One of the guards is crushed, and the other is at the mercy of Bern as she heads towards him. He chants a healing spell, but it doesn't look like it's going to save him at this point.]

[Mercy. It's a word that doesn't even exist in her dictionary. No mercy for the enemy should ever be given. As soon as he starts chanting the spell she takes smaller pieces of the debris from the boulders and starts hurling it at the guard.

She isn't going to let this one go.]

For all your troubles, let me reward you. You called me an unholy abomination and a witch. You're correct, on both counts likely. [her expressions twists up even more, if it's possible.] In certain worlds in darker ages, when a human was accused of being a witch or a demon they were normally given a twisted punishment that would end with their death either way. Like tying them to a boulder and pushing them into lake. If they drowned they were a human. If they were a witch they would float back up, only to face death by the hands of the condemners.

Although, there was one method that wasn't always as organized. That method was death by stoning. [As she speaks debris continues to be hurled at the guard. They aren't large enough to crush him, but aren't small

Even if I die, there will be divine retribution for thou who hath murdered an Angel. [The rocks are denting his armor and flaying his feathers at this point, but Powers as stubborn as they are with their divine retribution, won't be giving in so easy.]

Magaru! [ A small wind spell with an area of effect, it's aimed at the rocks rather than Bern. But the Power is faltering, and it should be evident that this is the last spell he'll be able to cast, as futile as it is.]

Can't you just shut up and disappear already?! You're not even a real angel you miserable illusion.

[The wind pushes against the rocks, but only deters a few of the smaller ones. It doesn't stop more from coming at him, lunging towards the Power faster and faster. There's a good chance it won't even stop after he's gone, just to make sure that he returns to the depths from where he came.]
