Joyce Tenneson is my heroine...
I had the most amazing day today. School went surprisingly well. I discovered that my Design teacher doesn't think I'm a dumb blond after all. In fact, he helped me with my project. The abstract roses I cut from black paper ended up aligning to for a zebra! Trippy! Anyways....Adam made me the happiest girl on earth tonight. He'd been waiting for weeks for my Christmas present to arrive in the mail, and it had finally arrived a few days ago. He'd kept it a secret from me entirely except for the clue indicating that the present had to be shipped from someone who had gone out of town recently....that's why it had taken so long to ship. I had no clue what was in store for me!!! When I arrived at Adam's apartment there was a flat cardboard box laying on his bed. I opened it and was utterly amazed to discover that he had arranged for my favorite photographer, Joyce Tenneson, to sign an artist's proof of one of her photographs!!!!! How he did so, I have no clue....he has connections! Hehe! He said she signed it personally for me.....Wow! Needless to say, I was speechless and holding back the tears!! This was the most amazing and thoughtful gift I've ever received. This gift is so meaningful and special to me. I will cherish it forever. I'm so thankful to Adam. He is truly an amazing human being....so giving and kind. I feel so blessed to have him in my life.....No one has ever done anything like this for me.....ever! Auh, I'm still in shock! I'm going to get it framed this weekend and stare at it for hours.....I can do that now, but it's so late and I want to have plenty of energy tomorrow to stare at it. If anyone wants to stare at it with me...
