A wet and bedraggled 'Eve stumbled into the main room, followed closely by an Auror who had taken her wand from her. She looked around for Padma and Jade. When she spotted them, she quickly scurried over to them. Harry was standing next to Jade, almost in a protective stance.

'Eve's borrowed Hogwarts shirt clung to her body and her black bra was clearly visible through the white fabric. Her skirt was wet and she had her shoes and socks in her hands, as she had not been permitted any time to pull them on. Her hair, now wet, lay in messy loose waves about her face. She was worried.

She was worried about her terrible lapse in judgement... since when did she think she was infallible? that nothing could happen to her? She mentally kicked herself. At the same time, though, it didn't seem fair. Almost all of them were adult wizards and witches... at least 17... and if they wanted to drink and have a good time, shouldn't they be allowed to do it? They weren't getting inebriated on school grounds. They weren't hurting anyone - hell, they weren't even in public!

She did her best to look pathetic and contrite; she knew that she was going to have a lot of explaining to do... ugh, and to her new headmistress, too. She did not anticipate that in the least. Having to go to class all week and already a reputation amongst the professors... it was almost unbearable. At Beauxbatons, she had prided herself on always being able to break the rules and get away with things because no one ever suspected her. She was a quiet girl, a good student, and well-behaved. A model élève. She and Lealta (her Potions professor, head of house, and ex-lover from Beauxbatons) had carried on their affair for almost a year before the rumours had started to spread.

Hogwarts was supposed to be a new start for her, and she had fucked it up royally on the first day. A tear escaped the corner of her eye.

Dammit.

Her body was still tingling from the bath with Fred... she swore that as soon as she was permitted to, she'd go up to the owlery and send him a note. She had to see him again.

Her eyes flicked to the stairs, where she could hear Fred yelling at the Auror who had busted them. That's my guy, she thought wryly. He's going to try to protect us...

She met Jade and Padma's looks with a small smile and a look that said I'll tell you later...

A redfaced Dav shuffled back into the main room with some new refuge from Beauxbatons. Ravenclaws certainly didn't act like that back in his day. Which really wasn't that long ago now that he though about it. He tucked the girl's wand away in a pocket and tried to avoid noticing that her underwear was showing through her clothes. He missed Maria desperately. He was sick of being on assignment like this and playing truant officer. The looks he was getting from Padma and Jade weren't helping either.
"Errr... all right then.. Let's all head back through the tunnel, shall we? Padma, Jade, Pavarti. All you others, come on then... off you go... McGonagall's waiting...." He tried his best to be stern and authorative but failing that settled for a smile.

She caught the look from 'Eve and smirked. She wasn't quite sure how to feel. She felt a little jealous. But also a strange admiration for the new girl. Just when they all thought things might be dull with out Cho around to start trouble... Well, well, well, things might be interesting after all. She made a mental note to remember to ask 'Eve where she bought her underthings, that black bra was very flattering. In fact, Padma noted, 'Eve pulled off the soaking wet and bedraggled thing well. Padma followed this with a furious flush, Oh my gods, I'm checking out girls!

She swallowed hard. Well, hopefully this would just end in a detention, but with the Aurors here, she wasn't quite so sure. Going over over, she followed the first of the Aurors towards the tunnel back towards Hogwarts.

Sighing as he watched the students file out with the Aurors, he glanced up at the office from which shouting voices issued. He really should be up there to make sure Sirius didn't do anything stupid. Sighing again, he looked around and saw that Harry was standing resoluting where he had first been found. Ron stood waiting for him, looking a bit worried and confused, with Hermione... Wait... But Hermione had been... Frowning in confusion, he shook his head before walking over to Harry and putting a hand gently on the boy's shoulder.
"Come on, Harry. Ron. Hermione," he said softly, leading them towards the tunnel. "It's getting late."

"Remus," Harry started, "I'm only leaving because you asked me too. Not that I could hold that long. I wouldn't be much of a fight without my wand. Well, as long as Sirius still had his. One of these days we'll settle this without them." He fumed.

"Tell him that he has anything to say to me he can send it through you or my parents, 'cause after this he'll see them before I talk to him again." Harry stocked off down the tunnel.

He sighed as he watched Harry go. Rubbing a hand over his eyes, he massaged the bridge of his nose. Merlin, James and Lily were lucky they died before they had to deal with this. He winced as he just realized that the thought had honestly went through his head. It would be hell having to deal with Sirius and Harry through this. Even worse than having to deal with William and his rehab. He also hoped that the day that Sirius and Harry did settle this without wands never came. Sirius could by far out-fight Harry, with or without wands. The only thing that could save Harry was the fact that he was James' son and Sirius would never hurt him for that simple fact.

Shaking his head again, he sighed as he leaned against the wall, lingering in the passageway to wait for Sirius.

Jade smirked at Eve's look and felt Harry's presence right behind her. One of the Aurors poked her sharply with a wand and she suddenly felt like she was in a chain gang out in Texas. Her anger blarring up she spotted a few good sized rocks laying on the ground she floated one up and smacked him in the shoulder with it. Smiling innocently she filed along the dark tunnel.

She really wished they'd have let her keep her wand. She couldn't see a thing.

(OOC--that rock thing was for y'all...Just had to do it..and you'll probably never let me live it down)

'Eve heard Jade grunt behind her as they marched along the tunnel. She was still shaking - a combination of the adrenaline and the cold. She had grabbed her cloak on the way out, but she was still drenched and her too-thin Beauxbatons cloak was woefully inadequate.

She heard the sound of something fist-sized zip past her and hit the Auror trailing them in the shoulder. She choked, trying to swallow a laugh, when she realized that Jade must have used her telekinesis. She knew she shouldn't be laughing, even internally, but she was so upset that she didn't know what else to do. The entire situation was just so absurd... it was just a few friends hanging out (okay, and a little more in some cases) but not doing harm to anyone. Sending ten Aurors to herd ten students back to the school... it seemed excessive. Oh, she had no idea how she was going to explain this one to Headmistress McGonagall. She cringed.

Af course, all she wanted to do now - besides Fred, obviously - was go to sleep... or maybe stay up talking to Padma and Jade. She wanted to dish! And she'd caught Padma checking her out back in the store... she grinned to herself.

Well, it was definitely a way to start the new school year, albeit not the way she had hoped to start at Hogwarts. What was done was done, though... hopefully she'd come through it with just detention. She wouldn't be able to pull any pranks for a bit, though... be on her best behaviour.

Well, she thought morosely, at least my parents won't hear about this.

"My gram is going to kill me" Neville thought as he headed down the tunnel.

A clicking caught his ear as he realized how dark it really was in here. Reaching instinctivly for his wand as he looked around for whatever horrid thing was clicking at them. Fear gripped him for a moment as his hand found only air where his wand shoudl have been. It took him a moment to realize to things. 1) Sirius had his wand.2) The clicking sound wasn't a monster, just a cold, wet 'Eve. Tapping 'eve on the shoulder, Neville wordlessly removed his own cloak and held it out to her.

Feeling a tap on her shoulder, 'Eve turned slightly to see an awkward-looking boy - Neville, right? she thought - offering her his cloak. She must have been shaking more than she thought. Smiling weakly at the boy, she gratefully accepted his cloak and pulled it over her own wet one.

"Thanks," she managed through chattering teeth.
