Oh. My. God. I'm speechless. That was so beautiful, Ed soaked in the rain, and Roy and... If my brain wasn't completely melted to mush I'd be able to come up with something better than fantastic.

I love how you bring out the stark contrast of the rain and their heat and just the image your words portray... *applauds* I LOVE this. It made my day. :D

If all disasters are this wonderfully hot and soaked in rain, I say we don't have enough disasters. XD

Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it. sky_dark and I were talking about Amato Discord at Ycon, and it made me want to write smut in the rain.

I agree completely. Lots more disasters like this are in order.

Oh, I used to LOVE that doujin. Still do, actually. I actually like most of the FMA doujins by idea. And I'm grateful there are relatively smart doujinkas who draw FMA doujins, ^^;

it is! i think i have only read one and that was roy and ed kissing in the rain. and only one, after all the ones on aff.net, lj, and ff.net and you see how many fics are on ff.net. actually anything with the rain isn't really done which is sad

Well, I think it may be because it sounds like it would have to be very cliche. It's a shame, because done right it's such gorgeous imagery.

I was reading your comments and saw the mention of Amato Discord. That dj is exactly what I pictured when I read this. You gave words to those beautiful pictures. Incredibly gorgeous words at that. In first person no less, which is, for most, is not easy to write, yet you make it seem effortless. It's absolutely Roy speaking... there is no doubt of that. You capture both of them perfectly. Truly, this was amazingly beautiful.

I love Amato Discord so much as long as I don't read the dialogue. Thank you very much! I'm not in the mood to write first person very often, (I've only done one other fic this way) but it's different and interesting to write, and when I tried to do this in third person, I didn't like it nearly as much.
