Ongoing Comedy Challenge
Ongoing Challenge Guidelines:
Members who wish to complete this challenge will complete eight (8) fictions and/or fanarts, based on the following character prompts:
• Inuyasha's Group
• Kikyo 's Village (later known as Kaede's Village)
• Kouga's Pack
• The Band of Seven
• Sesshoumaru & Friends
• Naraku's Posse
• The Modern Crew (anyone in present day Japan)
• Wildcard (can be a repeat or someone else entirely)
The prompts are the character groups themselves. That means that the fic or art completed for each challenge must be centered around at least one character from the prompt group it was created for. So a Kagura fic would work for Naraku's Posse just as well as Kanna or the evil hanyou himself. You can use characters from different groups all in one fic, but each piece will only count for one group at a time, and the character(s) for the group it is posted for must be major players. This means that Inuyasha can battle against Naraku and have it count as a Naraku prompt, but Naraku would have to be one of the main characters of the piece and not just mentioned once or twice in passing. Basically, the challenge is to write 8 comedy fics (or draw art or do a combo of fic and art) using one or more of the characters from each group. Capeche? Ask questions if you need to!
* Authors and Artists, all entries must be new and written/drawn for this challenge. No reusing old fics/pics.
* Each entry must be a minimum of 250 words, but there is no maximum word limit. Make them as long as you like!
* Entries may be stand-alone, or may work as a series.
* Prompt order doesn't matter.
* Stories must be of a comedic nature. This is InuComedyClub after all!
* This challenge has no deadline, so you are free to complete entries at your own pace. No pressure!
* This challenge is not a contest. Each participant will receive a banner for their fics/pics. You'll definitely want to collect them all!
* You are welcome to post your stories elsewhere, in your own journal or on the various fanfic sites, but you must submit a post here for your fic to be recognized.
* Please tag each entry with your username, "character challenge" and "fanart" for any art pieces.
