Prov 39: Break + Mod Announcement
Okay!
First, yay and thank you everyone who has entered Prov 38, 'Tis the Season. Entries for this round will be accepted up until Midnight, January 3rd, so feel free to enter if you haven't already.
Now to all the fun mod stuff:
I mentioned before that there were going to be a few changes to the way things were run over here. I will now explain these changes for you all in detail (nothing too difficult, I promise!).
First, you may have already noticed in the side bar *points to the right of the screen* that I have posted the upcoming provocations for you. This means that you can get a sneak peek and a head start on entries for upcoming weeks. However, you will only be posting entries to the group for the current round. So feel free to get them done ahead of time, but please do hold onto them until we announce the start of each prov, okay? I'll have Sunny come after you with the stick if you forget.
Next, you will also notice that the word counts now alternate between 100-1000 and Open word. It's as simple as it seems. On weeks with a max/min, entries must fall somewhere in between the two. Open word entries can be as long or as short as you'd like. Anything from a 50 word drabble to that epic bit of crack that has been hiding in the corners of your mind. We want it all!
Lastly, participation banners will no longer be offered for every provocation. It will depend on the level of participants and other secret, modly requirements that we have concocted. *muahaha* The point is we will not be overwhelming you with the shinies. They will be very special shinies, and like a dog waiting for a treat, you will not know when they are coming.
