You know, I often will go through long stretches of time where it feels like I suddenly take a huge step back in my iconning abilities, to the point where I just hate everything I make. But it always goes away again! So I wouldn't worry about not really feeling it this month.

I have a definite favorite of these: #3, and it's alt #21. The texture use is spot on, and I love the warmth of the coloring as well as the whole composition and the focus on their lips. The added complexity in the alt is very fun, though I am more drawn to the version you chose as the main one. I definitely feel the contemplative vibe there! Your use of white textures is generally really good, I'm thinking back to that one from your Supernatural batch. It's interesting, it seems (to me, anyway!) that the more complicated your icons are, the more balanced they end up. But seriously, #3 is just fabulous, you should definitely be proud of it!

In general, I think my favorites of your icons are the ones where you have the background interacting with the subjects, like #2 (wonderful bw, the two images are great and balance each other nicely!), #7 (the touches of green are great, they make it pop without overpowering the icon), #14 (again with the white textures, being awesome!!) and #19 (love the light swirl, it draws the focus really well to her face and the bit of "POLICE" we can see, the cropping is also fabulous there). I also like #1 and #17. They are both relatively simple but the lighting on them is great, and I adore the coloring on #1, it's so pretty!

And, well, I know nothing about wallpapers but I love your blocking skills! Especially how you have the smaller, blue section overlapping the green background section? I wouldn't have thought of that but it really makes it so much stronger than if it had lined up with where the white section ended. :)

Thank you for leaving such a nice comment. You have no idea how good it is for me to hear this right now. ♥

I'm super glad you like #3, because that's one that I was really excited about when I made it, and then I came back and looked at it and went, "ehhh...not sure if I like that actually." But I'm glad it gets the idea across, at least.
Thanks for taking the time to let me know what worked. It's very helpful. :)
