Felicia Day causes spazzing.
OMFG I AM SUCH A NERD I SAW FELICIA DAY IN A SEARS COMMERCIAL AND RECOGNIZED HER AND SPAZZED AND GIFT WAS CONFUSED.

P.S. This was just going to be a spazz post but it made me think.
A problem I have a lot with actors who play very, VERY recognizable characters is that when I see them playing someone else I feel... uneasy? I sometimes just can't see them as another character. Which is why, I know, actors often avoid spending too long in one successful show (the Seinfeld curse, anyone? but also, while trying to get a show that is successful enough to ensure a longlived career). For example:
I saw The Janitor from Scrubs (Dr. Jan Itor, if you prefer) in another show and was completely confused.
ANYWAY. The point is, I saw Felicia Day as (for the most part) a different character than her highly stylized "Sid" and AND AND it didn't bother me at all. Which surprised me, because Felicia is so complete as Sid that I thought it might be strange seeing her play someone else. Anyway, it wasn't.
