Twenty three minutes into October eleventh.
I clicked on the Omm application and it takes control of my iMac.
The opened windows - of Empires&Allies, Gmail, and even MSN are
Engulfed by the whiteness. It is a snow-filled landscape. Almost barren.
With the exception of a few skinny trees and their bare branches.

Somehow, no matter how many times I try to wipe off the layer of dust
From my table, it continues to gather. No, the dust does not annoy me;
In fact, it quietly gathers, as particle pile onto particle, and then slowly
Form unnoticed specks of nothingness. Until I unthinkingly wipe my hand

Is it September thirtieth, or is it still the twenty ninth?
Does it matter? As the seconds pass away, do we ever look back
Do we turn around? As lids are closed, and then some, as they
Move from alpha to delta, utter an unspoken word or two?
Are the thoughts, like this, cognizant of the present,
Also fade into slumber, and then,
Oblivion?
