While it is wonderful to sit around and discuss how amazing we INTJs are, there are other types in the world and we generally have to deal with them more than with fellow INTJs. As a result I will be making weekly posts about how INTJs interact with others to get feedback on the experiences we INTJs have had with other types and how we've learned ( Read more... )

But, I can say he appears very "normal" to me. He's an avid businessman, he loves cars (especially fast, expensive European cars-oh, not that this means much, but he is actually from Paris), he likes to exercise, he likes socializing, he keeps up with the news, he gossips about celebrities, he indulges in sharing random trivia, he makes jokes, and this could go on for a while. He's pretty much a "normal" man, I'd say.

I rarely have any trouble whatsoever with my boss. Occasionally he'll tell me to smile or "be happy" or whatever it is, and I don't tend to like that too much, but he makes me laugh, and he is hardly unpleasant. Since I don't see him everyday or for long shifts, I don't have to worry about being annoyed by him anyway. We easily stay out of each other's way (when we're doing everything properly, anyway), and we occasionally talk with each other on just "whatever" or even watch YouTube or the French news on his computer.

I believe such a relationship is particularly significant because it showcases the idea that people of different types can get along and work with one other well. I will admit I do not tend to like his type, so to speak, but because my interactions with him aren't so negative (if at all), it makes me more willing to try to work with other types. It also goes to show you that other types aren't necessarily horrible, repulsive, frustrating, or whatever.
