Sign of Boredom, or Procrastination
You can't see it, but it's there and it's red and runs in place ... unless I move my mouse, then the horse-cursor skirts across my screen. Over hills, snowy and slippery ones, and up trees. It runs across the sky like a wingless Pegasus and allows me to click on things if I line up my choice just right with its little red butt.
This amuses me and keeps me from calling the phone company to challenge the charges on my bill ...
