I wholeheartedly agree - except the bit on Hiroshima being necessary to protect the homeland. Japan already was pleading for peace at that time. So what was left was a "fancy experiment" how the newly developed bomb might work.

Nice blog BTW - I came to it by accident and it has been very interesting to read thus far.

I didn't want to piss off too many american people by saying that it was completely unfounded. I live here. haha. I totally believe that it was however, and completely avoidable.
