063. TEN holiday memories.
1. His younger brother's first Christmas. Because you don't forget your first Christmas as not an only child.
2. The last Christmas he spent with Lucas, sitting in a hospital room sharing some meal that the cafeteria had attempted to pass off as Christmas dinner. Tim had even brought him one of those dorky little fake trees.
3. His first Christmas in Miami after joining the crime lab. Megan and her husband had invited him over to their house for dinner since Tim refused to go home to New York.
4. His second Christmas in Miami after joining the lab. This one was spent at the Woods homestead, for after meeting Alexx he had been all but adopted by the M.E. Unlike at Megan's house the previous year, there were no awkward questions asked of him; Speed was just accepted as a member of the family and that was that.
5. Dayshift's annual Christmas party. Sure, Secret Santa gift exchanges are kind of cheesy. But in all the years he's been with Miami-Dade, Speed has never received a gift that wasn't "him". All part of the fun of having other criminalists for friends.
6. Christmas 2004. His folks and brother surprised him by flying down to Florida to spend the holiday with him. Even though no one wanted to admit it, Tim suspected that his brush with death three months ago might have had something to do with it.
