The Waiting is the Hardest Part
There's still seventeen days left until I can come back into Towers. Five weeks out of the dorms is nothing but a hassle. I don't even have much to say about this, just thinking about it makes me hate Framingham - that is until I think of what its going to be like once I get back.
Smile just thinking about it...
November 11. :)
You Shook Me
I fear it more than anything. Not because I don't feel safe, but because its embarassing. I have my problem but I also have my pride. To wake up with everyone standing over you asking if you're alright, telling you you just had a seizure is the most frustrating and degrading thing I've had to endure.
This past weekend after the game me, Carolyn, Paul, Kyle and Justine went to Kiel's after the game to smoke and watch TV and I felt it happening again. I fought it harder than I ever have been able to before (most likely because I was completely ripped from the blunt and bong), but I still fell on my way back from the bathroom and seized up for about 5 seconds before picking myself up and going back to watch TV (after a glass of water I was fine). It's far beyond a mere annoyance and there's nothing I can do about it.
I hate it.
More Than A Feeling
What the Red Sox and Patriots are doing right now is unreal. New England hasn't lost in well over a year now and Boston is up two games to none in the
World Series. I love the Sox and to be watching them do what they're doing - especially the way in which they've done it, this years playoffs are already a classic - still hasn't begun to sunk in. Sometime next January I'm going to awake with a start and just say "Damn, that really did happen."
New England is the center of the sports universe right now, and thats pretty fucking sweet.
The Dumb Shit
*My car. Sure you're a 4 cylinder Saturn, but did you really have to have your transmission quit on me just because I consistently piled over a half ton of pot-smokers inside you? So much money...
*I will get a job up at school once I get my car back on campus. I really want to work in a book store. I also really want to finally leave Curleys behind, which won't be easy. I really devoted myself to that place and earned a lot of respect. I've also learned a whole helluva lot.
Coming up
*Saturday 10/30 - The Slip, Northampton (as well as Game 6... :-/ )
*Sunday 10/31 - Tripping in Boston (If Boston wins this night it will be the greatest night of my life. 80,000 fans surrounded Fenway when the Red Sox won the game for the right to play in the World Series when the game was played in New York. A World Series win, in Boston, with everyone in costume, with Mike Myers in the bullpen. Yeah that seems to be the way Boston should win it all.)
