I HAVE A JOB!
Barnes & Noble called me today and I am hired. I'm full-time and I start out as a supervisor over the cashiers. I'm glad I got to start out in a supervisory position so I don't feel like I am completely starting from scratch here. Benefits start after 90 days, so I will have insurance and everything. So awesome.
Orientation is February 24th so I pretty much have a month's vacation, no worries!
Also I got my last paycheck from Sam's today and not only was it a FULL paycheck, but they paid me for my two weeks vacation I was going to get this year!!! Along with my stock options I walked away with about a month's worth of pay!
Month's pay, month's vacation. This turned out to be fucking sweet.
Thanks to everyone for wishing me well. I was getting good mojo from a lot of folks and it looked like it has worked out.
