Coming back to mark another notch in the doorway of my internet age. I'm a Producer now, I manage teams making videogames. Never thought I'd be here when I started a LiveJournal, but I'm grateful.

My friends page is sad. Fight on, the remaining few! You still have a forum! You defy the greater gods of the internet, the Twitterers and Facebookers and Bloggers! You still keep a journal, and it is a worthy thing! Thank you for keeping the peace.

It's a shame that so much of strategy is lost to brute forcing and speed when you have to deal with it in real time, but on a turn, the scope of the battle can be lost in each individual decision.
If I ever invent a wargame, I need to figure out a way to make planes less relevant. A sulfur hexafluoride ridden atmosphere? Less atmosphere? Bleh.
