Carmen Marc Valvo, a famous designer, was at the Natick Collection today. If you don't know his work, you should look him up. A sneak peak at his Fall 2008 collection and a short speech by Valvo was given in the interest of finding a cure for cancer. The cheapest tickets were $250 a head. If I had known, I probably would have paid. I listened to him for a minute, but I couldn't really hear him (I was a floor above and with my hearing problems...), and I was with other people. I now regret not staying: I should have just paid. $250 is not a lot to advance my career. Granted, not having planned for it, I did not look good enough to attempt to even approach Valvo. But I still wish I could have seen the show.
