All our furniture is moved out. Most of the kitchen is at the new apartment and all of Katie's room. I haven't packed anything from my room except my books. I'm a reader, and that means lots of books, which makes for some really heavy packages. So those are gone. Everything else - and there is a lot of it - is in a corner of my bedroom in the old apartment. I wish I could start packing tomorrow but I can't because I have to be helping out with the fashion show all day. Most of the day, anyway. I have to be there from 8am until probably 12pm, then a few hours break for lunch and such, and then back to help with the rest of the show, then - depending on my role in the setup - I may be be able to see the show (and yes, I do have a ticket), but if I am assigned to dress a model, I won't get to. Good thing my ticket, as a fashion student at the school, was only $5. Then, whether or not I get to dress a model, I have to be there after the show to help clean up and move the clothes, etc, etc. I am told to plan on being there until 9:30pm. In the time I won't be helping, those few hours in between, I will be eating lunch and doing work on my project.
And hence, all this means I can't even start packing until late tomorrow night. I'll have Saturday, Sunday, Monday afternoon, and Tuesday to pack and move all my crap. Loverly.
