Alice glared slightly at the noise created from the girl's shouting. "How about you walk out that door over there and we'll see if you're allowed to leave right now?"

While she didn't have anything better to do that day -she's sure she could've found something if pressed to do so. Instead her presence was demanded here -quite literally and through no less than three personal threats. With these people and annoyingly a horde of guards who just watched.

"No really, try it. It'll be fun for the rest of us to watch."

"You've just made my point yourself." Alice said, her face blank at the girl's small pout. "I'd say everyone is frustrated right now."

Alice didn't like the large crowd, or the guards standing around the room. Or the fact that at any moment she could likely impale anyone too close.

"What's so important that you have to be elsewhere?"

Alice suddenly regretted asking the girl, her spiel about her plans boring her exceptionally.

"I'm still unpacking." Alice admitted, picking at dirt below her nails -ever since her power had triggered there was always dirt under her nails. "I would prefer to be at home. In California." Which was the total truth.

She didn't like being away from everything she had grown up with and loved. Instead she was alone, with a power she hated and in a new state. With annoying, perky people talking to her. Maybe her brash nature would deter the girl from speaking more.
