Drabbles - Friday 13th - Good Luck, Bad Luck. [01]

Kyou Kara Maou. Yuuri, Murata, Wolfram.

“C'mon, Shibuya!” Murata says. The fact that his glasses are gleaming so doesn't help his case. “It's tradition!”

“Murata! It's bad luck!”

“On Earth, yeah. Here in Shin Makoku it's actually considered good luck!”

“So? It just means that I'm gonna have bad luck once we go back!”

Before they can keep on arguing, Wolfram seems to suddenly appear by his side. “What the hell is taking you so long, wimp?”

The crash of the mirror is surprisingly loud for the few seconds it lasts. It's almost as terrorizing as Murata's sudden grin.

“Nothing at all, von Bielefeld.”

Ouran High School Host Club, Haruhi, Tamaki, Kyouya.

Having Tamaki with handfuls of clovers and with a horseshoe hanging from his neck isn't, somehow, something weird and it's easily dismisable as another Tamaki quirk. Except when he tries to put his 'good luck charms' on the rest of them.

“Senpai, there's not such thing as 'bad luck',” Haruhi deadpans. “You don't break a mirror because you can cut yourself, spilling salt makes a mess, and walking beneath stairs might cause something to fall on you.”

“What about black cats?” Tamaki despairs, still clinging to Kyouya's arm.

Haruhi sighs. “Just stay away from Nekozawa-senpai and you'll be fine.”

There are some days during the year when the natural barriers between the spiritual world and reality go paper-like thin, with more than one or two poltergeist wanting to cause trouble and break through .

Halloween and Equinox are some of these days. December 31st.

“Fucking Friday 13th,” Dean mutters, reloading his gun. Sam is inclined to agree, even as he keeps on tracing runes on the boards, muttering the rhymes that, of all things, makes them work. “C'mon, Sammy, let's get this over with.”

Dusting his hands against his jeans, Sam stands up and takes out his gun too.
