seriously? live forever? sometimes its hard enough to force myself to get up from bed every morning.. much less do it infinitely. and what would you do with all that time?!
as an adult with priorities, your feet firmly planted on the ground, reasonable and logical, living in this day and age.. if asked to choose between the first two and the last one, which would you choose?
Good question. You can look at it two ways, in my opinion.
First, if you had a good job and a good car, you'd be able to take on your adult priorities and live comfortably. Plus, if you were to choose these 2 options over the last, you'd be assured a stable income and such. Not having a 'good someone to love' isn't going to kill you, but not having the first 2 could possibly be the death of you.
But, you could also look at it in another light. Perhaps if you had a good someone to love, you'd have the willpower, energy, whatever you want to call it, to go out and achieve good things. Thus, you'd get the good job and the good car, and you'd also have a loved one as well.
So, I guess it depends on the person. Me, I'd pick the first 2 and just hope for the good person to come along. But I'd not worry if he didn't. Some people, however, thrive on relationships.. Therefore it'd be better to start off with the good person.
Does any of that make sense? It does to me, in my mind. ;P
it does. very much. *sigh* the problem is that in life, choices are hardly that clear cut. there always seems to be a catch somewhere and a person just happens to find it when s/he least expects it to.. and isnt it great that its the result of your own choice? there isnt anyone you can pass the buck to. *frowns* such is the irony of life neh? condemned to live a life of choice. god has a very strange sense of humor.
i remember this calvin and hobbes strip where calvin asks pretty much the same question (or somewhere along those lines).. and hobbes replies with "a big grassy field to sleep in". while calvin is yapping something about the simplicity of his wish, hobbes on the last cell of the strip is on his back sleeping in a big gras.. yada yada.. shiet.. didnt realize i was being a windbag. sorry bout that. im sure you know this strip. and im pretty sure that you know what im driving at so i'll skip the freakin explanation and shut my trap now.
hehehe... loads of sex appeal (& gusto for the deed na rin, woohoo). moolah. peace of minddddddd. a big Malibu house with the works. a kick-ass career. my sanity still intact when I reach my prime.
1. worth P/$ 20M (greater than or equal to) house :) 2. a career that I would really love doing and i could earn a lot money! :) 3. peace of mind.. (*sigh*) 4. someone to love and would love me back. 5. a day without pressure, depression, expectation, etc. just simply relaxation.. hmmm :) nothing to worry about! 6. unlimited supply of money! (wehehe but of course it's not really possible, it would break the law of supply and demand! wenk! wehehehe) 7. happiness. (family, career,.... life!) 8. and of course, but not the least, GOD! :)
hmm.. god neh? for the sake of curiosity lets say im an aetheist. would your cristian goodiegoodie self compel you to save me? and how would you go about doing this?

And when I get all of that, then I want to live forever too (adds good health to the mix).
