back at school
So in an effort to put off being a responsible student, I'll update a bit first and maybe then I'll get going. I got back up to school yesterday afternoon with my mom and we unloaded the two cars of stuff I have. We tried rearranging my room since I want to use two twin beds next to each other, but it makes the room understandably smaller, so I'm not sure how permanent that is going to be. We then went to dinner and the largest grocery/stuff shopping I've ever done, but I certainly have a good amount of food now. I came back, put away groceries, putzed around my room a bit, then decided to take a break. So my mom left right after grocery shopping and my housemates went out for a bit and i was aaaaaall alooooone :(, it was kinda sad. So I go online, and no one answers their IM, so I call Austin, and he's sleeping, so I putz around my room more, hung some pictures and things, then Luke called! Someone lives!! So he came over for a bit, plus my roommates came home, and Aaron IMmed me, so that was my first five minutes of being alone, and then all was well.
Hooked up my tv last night, though I dont love its place on the dresser, but thats where the cable jack is and I dont have a longer coax cable yet, so it'll do. I still have LOTS to unpack and put away and clean up, but really its a process, I cant do it all at once. So today, Im going to pick up my new ID, buy my books (ewww), and the planner I couldnt find ANYwhere at meijer, can you say reeee-stoooooock? And then swinging by work to meet the new boss since the old boss switched positions within the department, and if she can't give me more hours, I guess I'm going job hunting. UGH! Im so sick of looking for jobs and having no one have interest in me whatsoever. Anyone know of a job opening around here?
Other than that, not too much to report on. Austin's coming up this week to see the new place, and me, because we are not surprisingly disgustingly inseparable, yay! [those two words are kinda tricky to spell]. And then classes start on Monday, weird, I'm still not in mental mode for school starting, I'm having a hard time grasping that. Plus Im still kinda traumatized from my awful stats class last semester that its kinda putting a cloud on my pre-semester excitement, but hopefully after the first couple days of classes Ill get excited, or at least like my classes?
