(no subject)
Well, it certainly has been a while since I last posted, and the stuff i did post wasnt very cheery, was it? So I guess ill start this one with the good news. Its been a VERY busy couple of weeks here. Austin's birthday is this weekend, so many plans have been made and there has been lots of looking around for things to do and places to go and a good present. Should be a pretty awesome weekend.
Way before that even started, we went to the trailer for memorial day weekend, which was a LOT of fun and much needed relaxation for all three of us (my mom and Austin work a lot). The fun thing is, mom hasnt been in years and she has now remembered how nice it is, and we're looking into getting the place fixed up, or possibly even getting a newer trailer, its madness! but pretty exciting. So we went back the next weekend, and then last weekend Austin and I went camping.
Camping was different, but also very fun. Its very laid back, so minus the fact that i had to walk a few minutes to the bathhouse any time i had to pee, it was definitely fun. And, on top of that, Blackthorn was having their last show this weekend until August, at which point I will be in Israel, and I havent seen them live for a year and a half which is very sad, and people were going and wanted me to come, so Austin let me fenagle a few things around and we went to see Blackthorn on saturday night!!! It was definitely awesome, and worth the 40 minute drive... both ways. I love them. A Lot.
Ok, so time for the really big news. If you've worked your way down this far, I guess you deserve the big news. 'Course i did help you get here by putting in a ton of new paragraphs, but thats alright. Austin wanted me to just put up the photos, but i wanted to explain the situation a little, and plus i dont have a good pic yet. Karin finally needs a car in Illinois and is in no position to buy one herself, and any she could buy would not be worth the money, so my dear sweet camry that has been with me since i got my license is going to her, and im sure they'll take good care of each other,..else i'll hunt her down and give her three ear fulls, and ... I got a new Honda accord. Its blue,and beautiful, and a him, but i havent named him yet, since mom and i picked him up from the dealership at which point she wanted to drive the new car, and took him to work, which she did today also. Im hoping I can drive the car around more than the parking lot tomorrow, we'll see. I still have to clean out the camry cuz my sister is coming in really early saturday mrning to get it and leaving sunday or monday, so hopefully today or tomorrow ill clean it all out. I have a honda! Im kinda nervous cuz now i actually have a car i cant screw up in, and even though i dont screw up driving, its kinda scary. But its blue!!! It drives so nice, and now so does the camry since it just got fixed and is wonderful again. Plus moms lease is up soon so she's gonna have to get a new something soonm also. Its car madness this week, sufficed to say its been a very busy couple of weeks.

I mean its not all sad, just reflective. But no matter, right now, i am relaxing, waiting for Austin to come home, having my meal of the day, and then going to work. Hi and hugs to all, and Dez I hope you get better soon, Ive heard mono is pretty shitty, hopefully you get out of it soon. Thats all for me, im off. Byee peoples.
