I nursed a pigeon back to health that landed on the window sill and threw up and pooed everywhere for about 15 hours. He was a young racing pigeon born early this year, so I felt even more obligated that the bird was someone's pet. I gave him sesame bread and water, and kept telling him he was going to get better and fly off the stoop to his home.

It's the best thing that's happened to me in a while.
