I really liked the "Journey" scene in the first one
Can we please talk about Laguna Beach?
I cannot stand these new main characters. Kristin, although your bitchyness in the first season seemed more like an entertaining snarkyness that was kinda likeable, now in the 2nd season, as THE main character it's completely clear that you are not only void of any fun or likeability, you are completely self-centered, and just plain mean. Seriously, going into where Taylor works and pointing out that all the clothes are ugly then following that up with, "Well, look who works here"... are you kidding me? Are we 12?
And Jessica, although your lack of self-confidence may appear to some as sympathetic, to me it's completely pathetic. Feeding Kristin's ego by telling her that you are staying with (lying, cheating, scumb bag, 40 year old) Jason bc he's the only one you can get, and that you aren't like Kristin (who can get any guy she wants) was completely disgusting! Ewww!
I appreciated how Alex kinda brushed off the flack the other 2 bitches were giving her about not getting guy's numbers and how uninterested she seemed when she gave in and asked the balding 38 year old for the digits. She would have gone up a couple more notches if she refused completely. And would have seemed like an actual individual instead of one of Kristin's groupies if she would drop those girls completely. They aren't real friends. Alex is the only one half-way likeable in Kristin's clique, and she's a total snob too!
I hope Taylor and Alex #2 serve Kristin and Co. a healthy dose of reality and c.p. those bitches back to the 6th grade.
