On who's in Dubrovnik (I can't hear you).

You can't imagine the stark ecstasy I've been experiencing these past couple of weeks. I'm back in town, I'm all moved in to my awesome new apartment, I've got a schedule to stick to that whips me into shape and pays me to sit at a desk and gossip, but most importantly, I'm back in town. And really, you really don't appreciate things like civilization and cable and fucking stoplights even until you're miles and miles away from it all for many many weeks. Much like I appreciated all that other stuff before this, I guess? So really, I guess I'm just more appreciative than usual. And that's good, right?

I talked to Jannette last night. She's also moved in to her new place somewhere in LA, which she apparently loves a lot. I say somewhere because she's keeping it all a big secret until I come down to visit and make a big trek to Ikea with her? And she's nothing if not secretive. Also, I forget how much we sound alike sometimes when I call her up and I'm hungover and tired, and my voice is just husky enough to double for hers. "Hello?" "Hello!"

Guess you had to be there.

. . .

Can someone tell me why I have such a big thing for firecrotches lately? Like Corey? And the guy from The Apprentice? I'm moving to Ireland.

Speaking of which; Corey is now dating another friend, and that's something I can bitch about for days. Gay.

. . .

All my friends are vegan, and all I want is to eat cheeseburgers. Tonight I meet some of them at Livingstone's. Some friends and this girl I met at work. Then we see how much trouble we (read: I) can get into.

PS: 559.274.0556. That's my new number, folks.
