Ok, I'm making a habit of sleeping through alarms. lol What's the deal? I think I remember learning in psychology class a few years back that during certain periods of sleep, the human body is harder to wake than at others. So I think I'm trying to wake myself up at the wrong time. Last night I was just going to go to lay down briefly before The Daily Show at 10:30 & I didn't wake up until 10 a.m. this morning! I don't even remember waking up at any point during the night (Which is unusual since my bed isn't the most comfortable.). I even had a nap that lasted an hour & a half. I slept. A lot. lol
Yesterday was alright. Nothing too major. I got my midterm back from Anthro & I got a 100% on it. hahahah That class is SO easy. I've realized now just the amount of work I need to put into for that class. Sadly, I took a PSCI test that was TOUGH as hell. I should've studied more. I'll be lucky to get a C, knowing the way this teacher grades. B/C I slept until 10, I skipped my History class today.
Yesterday I was obsessed w/ mash-up songs (What they're calling remix songs where they combine 2 or more songs into a single song, incase you didn't know.) all thanks to
pelennor_fields.
I heard an awesome song that mixed Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams", Oasis's "Wonderwall", & 2 other songs. Then I heard a techno dance version of U2's "Vertigo", a type of techno remix of The Vine's "Ride" (SOOOOO AWESOME!), a Cypress Hill/Papa Roach remix, a Beatles/Queen remix, & 1 that remixed Usher's "Yeah" w/ Queen's "Another One Bites The Dust" (Which turned out SO fucking rad!!!). I must hear more mash-up songs! I actually heard a bunch last summer on a local radio station in IL - 1 was a caberet version of Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out" (I think) done by Scissor Sisters.
I got my class book for the spring quarter - now I can plan my last quarter & so far, I hope I can get the classes I want b/c it would be a pretty kick ass & easy quarter.
I went grocery shopping today & got tons of good food. mmmmm I just wish I could afford more!
I'm going to miss Enterprise when it's off the air. I was actually thinking about doing a really geeky thing & write some fanfic about it. haha But I would have no clue about the technical jargon they use & there's so much history to it, I'd have to research so much Trek history. lol
I had stuff I wanted to discuss & all but now I can't remember what it was. Oh well.
Happy birthday, Copernicus! lol
