When you receive a call at work from someone who shall remain nameless identifying himself as Crowley looking for Aziraphale, I think the only possible response is that Aziraphale has left the building. With Elvis.
I wish it were Monday. Seriously. On Monday I was disgustingly cheerful, so cheerful that I would have annoyed me if I weren't so disgustingly cheerful. Getting to go home at 5:30 is a rare and wonderful thing. However tomorrow is Thursday and the box for it on my mental calendar is a pretty red color so yay. Also...
I'm taking Saturday and already had Friday off so I'm kidnapping
wildmachinery and we're taking a roadtrip to visit
invader_jim in North Carolina for 56 hours (give or take a few).
I have a new phone! I'd had the old one for over two years and although it mostly worked, it was time to replace it and apparently people kept designing new phones when I wasn't paying attention and this one is really neat. It's really shiny and has two touch sensitive buttons which vibrate when tapped. The keypad hides in the middle of the phone and slides out when needed. The only problem is that it's so shiny I have the same problem I have with new paperbacks -- I can't stand leaving fingerprint on the glossy surface and don't want to disturb their pristineness by cracking the binding at (for books) or marring the surface (shiny phone). So, I put the New Phone of Shinyness in a sock and there it will remain until I can find a protective covering for it. The old phone remains to be reincarnated as a bristlebot. The best thing about the new phone is that I can make or receive calls, wait for it, even inside the house, something the old phone didn't like to do. What a novel concept!
