Prologue: May 10th is National Small Business Day. One of those are these cute little mom and pop restaurants or locally owned cafes and dive-ins. This series brings forth those little nuggets of places that I visit for my meals.
A cold winter day brought me to this cute little place with my friends for lunch. A completely vegan restaurant, yummy delicious food, although we didn’t have any drinks they had which obviously looked yummy. and quite large portions of food too. I loved the way it was all setup, cant believe this restaurant opened way back in 1970s. There was an ION Market across the street which at one time were both under same umbrella apparently. Have to try the market next time.
Verdictum: Cute little place with yummy food, large portions and above all vegan.
Here are my 2 cents:
First Impressions:
1) Cute ambience and going with friends made it all the more lovely.
2) Food was yummy, we ordered only appetizers and entrees.
3) We heard the drinks and desserts were delicious too, missed ordering that.
4) We saw this large pedestal with a very early edition of Webster's Dictionary. Wonder why though!
5) Next time I want to try the Market across the street too.
