Prologue: May 10th is National Small Business Day. One of those are these cute little mom and pop restaurants or locally owned cafes and dive-ins. This series brings forth those little nuggets of places that I visit for my meals.
We went to this place for a dinner out on a suggestion. It has lovely ambience and is all decked in pink and green. However, we walked out hungry, so much so that we walked across to another restaurant for filling our stomachs. :)
Verdictum: Beautiful Ambience, famous for cocktails, but pricey tiny plate foods and we walked out hungry.
Here are my 2 cents:
First Impressions:
1) Beautiful ambience, lovely décor at every turn.
2) They had lovely booths in the inner rooms that we missed.
3) Food was very pricey and small plates. Cocktails were sour to taste, felt like all drinks the same taste
4) Courteous staff and made us feel at ease
5) But, we left hungry went to the Indian restaurant across the street to fill our stomachs.
6) Note the back of the menu says "Phones are discouraged. Enjoy the moment". Yet it was hard not to take pics of the ambience.
Amelioration:
1) Wish the food was better and cocktails less sour.
2) Price could be reduced as well.
3) And we walked to this place for filling our stomachs. Zero ambience but very very yummy food.
