I was just thinking this over, and have finally drawn a conclusion.
Take a moment to remember the fine films "The Firm" (with wee tom cruise) and "The Devil's Advocate" (with wee Al Pacino).
When i get my law degree, if a firm buys me a sweet home, a new car, sets me up to head their criminal division and pays me fat bank, well i won't give two shits if they are mafia shills or if i am working for Lucifer or any of that hooey. No need to hide your nefarious intent. I will never ever "seek out the truth and bring you down into ruin." Nope.
As long as mommy's check clears at the end of the day I will be a happy camper!
I suppose this makes me a bad person. I will have to learn to live with that, somehow.
