Misfits
I haven't fallen this fast and this hard for a show since... well, Kimura Takuya's Pride. The ENTIRE first two series of this British drama is currently available online on the national broadcasting channel (YLE) and yesterday I marathoned all 10 episodes of the first.
Words cannot describe how surprisingly addictive it is. I had previously heard of the show, but a drama about 5 delinquent young people didn't sound like my cup of tea.
But then I met Nathan, who just has to be seen to be believed.
And then Simon, whose first impression was that of a creepy-quiet psycho-in-the-making, but quickly became THE romantic male lead.
I also didn't think I would like either of the female characters, but they grew on me quickly, too! Nathan is hands-down the heart of the series and the most entertaining to watch. But like most fangirls after the end of series 1, I've become absolutely smitten by Simon. How is it that he can look like the creepy weird-kid voted most likely to become a serial killer in one scene AND the sexy white knight in shining armor in the next?! Is he the killer in this scene or the hero? The pervert or the romantic?
P.S. its also hard NOT to fall for the canon OTP when their theme is this EPIC.
