Hey! Nice to see you posted. Since I am your only mutual friend right now, I am probably the only one who sees it.
I have been reading a 56 Chapter fic that was originally posted in 2005 and apparently won many awards. It was just great. I had gotten the link from another journal/comment in lotrips_finders and didn't actually read it on LJ. But I did make a point of going in to the LJ version and commenting at the end of Chapter 17 which is how many chapters that I read in the first sitting. I then read the remaining chapters yesterday and finishing today, then going back into the LJ version and leaving a comment at the end after the epilogue.
I don't know if authors look at comments on something that is almost 3 years old, but it was a very good story and I thought the least that I could do was leave a couple of comments.
What stories are you reading lately? Just legomyarrow's stuff or are you reading anybody else that you recommend? Are you strictly LOR or have you branched out to the other fandoms? Just curious what has been floating your boat.
Maybe you could tell me a couple of your favorites and I can reciprocate and tell you a couple of mine.
That makes it fun, and then we can comment and see if we have things in common.
For instance, have you read any of the fic in nurses_daydream?
If you haven't, I'd say that you might want to take a peek over there and see what you think. They are currently up to ch 46 out of 50 total chapters in their Solitaire series. You know, if you add them as a friend, you will be able to see on your friend's page when they post subsequent chapters. They'll friend you back. They are very nice ladies.
