Weekend was good
It's been a while since I actually posted here, so here goes.
The weekend was really, REALLY good.
On Saturday, after work, I went with Tim to Kat's housewarming. It was really good, she looked absolutely stunning in her dress and all. It felt really nice too, like mircofibre or something. So, now she has met Tim as well, as did a number of other people from uni who were there, although some of them didn't realise who he was, I think they just thought he was a friend. Meanwhile the spacebar key on my laptop is not working some of the time, how annoying. Anyway, we left around 2:30 and we drove back to Tim's house. We had organised that I stay the night, and I would ring in sick for work the next day. I may as well use some of my sick pay since I am not going to get it paid out to me like my holiday pay! I didn't sleep all that well, it's hard to sleep in an unfamiliar bed, despite being exhausted. And to those who are wondering, no, nothing happened! I think in the end I got about 3, maybe 4 hours sleep. It wasn't too bad, I managed to rejuvenate a little. We didn't do much on Sunday. Listened to music for most of the morning/afternoon and then went to Georges in Camberwell for lunch/dinner at 4pm. It was filling, but really nice. I actually tried my first coffee! I didn't enjoy it all that much to begin with, but by the end it wasn't too bad. It was strong, but it was a cappuccino and they are very strong anyway. I will try it once more, but one of Tim's coffee's next time, and if I still don't like it, I will stick with hot chocolate. The thing is though, it gave me a huge boost in energy, a caffeine 'high'. I got rather hyper for quite a while. We watched movies for the rest of the day and then I had to go so we could both get some sleep. I slept quite well. I must have crashed this morning though because I felt so strange for part of the day, a kind of sad, depressed feeling, that I can only assume was from crashing off a caffeine high, since I am fine now.
Today I had to go into uni, and I got two more people done for the testing. 15 down, 25 to go. Roughly. I'll get it done eventually. Wednesday I have about 6 people to do, so that will be fun, though I think I will only end up getting 4 or 5 done, but it's a good amount to get done. Tomorrow I have to go in again, going to do the rest (I hope) of this SSA so it's out of the way, and since it is due in less than a week, I think it needs to be done. We've just forgotten about it. Oh well. It's worth like crap all anyway.
