When in Paris, look for Berthillon ice cream. It's in a tiny shop on the Ile St. Louis, which is the smaller of the two islands in the Seine. I'm not a big dessert person, but their ice cream is and is supposed to be the best in the world

Hey, thanks. Your suggestions both reaffirm decisions I had made and introduce me to new ideas. I especially appreciate the names of the neighborhoods most worth visiting. I purchased my tickets for $630 roundtrip (JFK to Heathrow). I don't know how that compares to other times of year, but people seem to think it is not a bad deal.
