This was breathtaking. I loved the beginning, especially this:
She was so bright, strong, energetic, and full of life that the electricity vibrated right into her soul. They were the perfect match: her most prized possession and her never failing protector.

You really captured Elle here...loved how she shared her sparks with him, and wanted to give him so many things.

Total love.

This is just plain awesome. I can't even begin to address all the parts I loved about this fic. Especially the end, oh man.

It’s hers, even now: her best friend, her most prized possession, and her never failing protector.

It binds around his heart and burrows deep into his soul, avenges her, never letting him forget.

Fucking AWESOME.

This made me cry. I just...I can't help but feel bad for Elle. She really got the short end of the stick for almost her whole life, and you portrayed that so beautifully and so tragically.

I love that ending though, that her powers kind of taunt him now. That he can't completely enjoy them. Fitting somehow.

I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you cry. I'm glad you liked the ending. I thought Elle deserved to have at least some form of justice.

Don't apologize. It was the good kind of cry. Catharsis :)

She totally does deserve it, and that was a great way to give her some.

Oh well if it was cathartic then I'm glad I could help. Elle really does deserve so much more than she got. I mean is it too much to expect Sylar to be a little broken up about what he did to her.

My goodness, that was hauntingly beautiful. I loved how it all came around in a circle in the end, Elle's sparks became the only thing she could truly trust. And I am so glad that Elle's sparks now haunt Gabriel, I guess she sort of lives on in this way.

Thank you. Yeah she sort of does get to live on through her power but it's also this separate thing. No one seemed to care when she died and I feel like (if her power were alive...it's a weird thought I know but) her electricity would care. It wouldn't let him for forget that he destroyed this beautiful vibrant girl. But then again that might not make any sense and I'm just a little crazy.

You are so not crazy, I agree. I think that for the rest of the show Sylar is going to use Elle's electricity begrudgingly because Elle had always been so electric that it is impossible to think of her without thinking of her power and vice versa. Elle and her electricity are like weird sisters, connected, you know.

It's nice to know what I say isn't completely crazy. It is like a sort of weird sister type of connection. Maybe it's partly because she was so young when she got her power but it's like her and her electricity help to define each other. And it's almost impossible to imagine one without the other.

This was terrific, I loved reading all of it.

This?

Her Gabriel Gray, he can still feel her in the tingle beneath his skin, still see her in the bright blue lightening bolts his hands produce, and he thinks he hates it more than anything he’s ever hated.

It’s hers, even now: her best friend, her most prized possession, and her never failing protector.

It binds around his heart and burrows deep into his soul, avenges her, never letting him forget.

Total love.
