More of Last Year's Pics
I've set a goal to post all those neighborhood pics I took last year but never got around to posting. There aren't that many, but there are a bit too many to post all at once.
This park is about four blocks from my house. It used to be a very nice place to go but more and more, a rowdier, rougher group of people have started using it. It's still nice...you just have to check out the crowd before you get out of the car.
In the very center of this pic, you can see a water fountain. The kids play in it in the summer. I used to bring my daughter and nephew to play in it more than twenty years ago! Almost no one else would ever be there way back then.
The park has an amphitheater that is used for a lot of different events by a lot of different groups. A lot of charities use it for fundraising events. Some churches have used it for outdoor services. In the summer, the City sponsors "Movie in the Park" one night a week and they show old movies for free. Whenever I take my four year old granddaughter to this park, to play on the playground, we sometimes walk over to the amphitheater. She always makes me sit out in the audience and she dances for me onstage! She's been a little performer ever since she was born. You may know of her one day!
Here's a sign someone posted on a telephone pole in my neighborhood. I thought it was hilariously funny. I know daschunds come in differnt colors and some are even spotted, but C'MON! They're looking for their lost weanie dog and the only description they can give is "brown red color!" Really!? Your weanie dog is brown red color, really!? hahahahaaaaaa - Okay, I'm through being mean now.
