And all the roads we have to walk are winding...

And all the lights that lead us there are blinding
There are many things that I would like to say to you
But I don't know how...

Miscellaneous update, yayay! Nothing much to report, and isn't it a wonder that I posted two days in a row? Goshgollygee.

Well, in the course of my writing the last half of chapter three and the entirety of chapter four, I have drawn up a blue print of Len's penthouse. For the sake of convenience, and so I don't get lost in my head. Yes, all those "he turned to the door to his right" and those "he looked to the table to his left" are rooted in, er, something? Anyway, voici!

Yes, it's very detailed. Hm, I can actually go the distance and make it even more so. You know, include colored pictures with actual wall paint, descriptions on furniture, wall paintings, decorative mirrors, light fixtures, and vases of flowers etc. But then, that would leave me less time for writing, haha, so I'll leave the details up to the readers.

It's a little OCD of me to actually draw up a blue print, and my husband looked at me funny when I proudly showed him my first draft. Sadly, when it comes to living spaces, I need to have everything set up so I can see them move around it and describe their actions accordingly. (I also have a rough draft of Kahoko's apartment, but that won't be 'til chapter five. XD)

I had so much fun with drawing up the plans for Len's penthouse. I know it's really large for Tokyo, but hey, the family's loaded, so I figured I can use that for some artistic licensing. ;P Everywhere except for the bedroom (which has a plush white wool carpet), and the entryway / genkan (which has dark oak) has marble floors. Cream colored for the living room/study/kitchen, dark marble for the half bath and walk-in closet, and white marble for the en-suite bathroom.

Oh, and the bathroom. (That started this entire thing.)

Counter top, shelvings and floor cabinet are dark cherry wood. There's a rectangular dark cherry wood platform that's slightly raised, in the middle of which is the tub. The tub itself is an infinity tub, with a ceiling-mounted faucet, and knobs/controls on the floor (on the wood platform by the tub). A partition separates the shower area and toilet. A large floor to ceiling bow window keeps the entire bath well-lighted during the day and gives a gorgeous view of the Tokyo skyline at night.

*stops, deep breath*

You don't have to read all that. That's just me indulging in some heavenly, rich people bathrooms (and penthouse) all mixed into my ideal one. Sadly, it'll cost around maybe $50,000 or possibly more for that dream bathroom. Ah, if only...

As for the actual writing, I've got Cal Lightman stuck in my head, so Len's been randomly calling Kahoko "Love" which won't do at all. I'm still kinda bashing my head for having written chapter three. (O-O-C... Graghaghh. *dies*)

la corda, len, misc update, lenkaho, aria
