an update on my LIFE. its epic. seriously

Okay, lets do a rundown of the good and the bad that have been going on in my life - considering my last entry was, like, two days ago.
Thursday Evening: I was extremely upset when Yoshigen Yuukoujouyaku refused to work for me. I tried it in the four different DVD players in my house, then my desktop computer - then my laptop. Nothing. So, after throwing a huge fit and almost crying (seriously, I almost cried) - I decided I'd exchange it. But, I mean... I was just so hyped up after finding it. Such a disappointment.

Friday: I don't think I did anything eventful this day. I mean, I decided I'd be going to the beach a couple of times next week. And, uhh - complained about the DVD that refused to play for me. Friday evening I watched the worst movie ever. The gore was so horrible that it ruined my appetite. Not because it was digsuting. But just, plain gore. No plot. Shity acting. It sucked monkey balls. The movie was called 'Automaton Transfusion'. I'd watched a different movie from the company that hosted this movie, called '13'. It was a Thai horror movie... and so horribly disgusting and gross that I loved it. It had an excellent plot and a great twist at the end! But... automaton transfusion sucked monkey balls. The acting wasn't good at all. Neither was the blood, guts, and gore. I hated how they claimed 'These zombies lust for human flesh!' - but they (the zombies) would give up chasing the humans as soon as the humans locked themselves indoors. WTH. I thought the zombies had a lust for human flesh?!? If I had a lust for human flesh, I wouldn't be chasing a lovely little human but suddenly go 'SCREW IT' and stop chasing them because there was a wooden door between me and them. Argh. The movie pissed me off, a lot. Ha ha.

Saturday: I went back to the mall, to the oriental shop to exchange the DVD Yoshigen Yuukoujouyaku. The sales people tried the DVD in their own laptop and players. No luck. So, they told me they could ship in a new on from Japan for me. But it would take 4-5 weeks. No problem. I gave them my contact information. Done deals. So, me being me... I cannot resist but to look at the Jrock section again. What do I find? A Dir en Grey DVD I want. It costed, err - $25, I think. BUT, the sales people suggested I just trade Yoshigen Yuukoujouyaku for this Diru DVD. And when the new Yoshigen Yuukoujouyaku DVD comes in, I pay for that. Sure. So, I got a free Diru DVD yesterday. I get home... My mood still sour from Yoshigen Yuukoujouyaku not working and stupid Automaton Transfusion - I watch my Diru DVD. It's awesome. I'll describe it more later. I hop onto my laptop... And see I have an alert in my Hotmail inbox. I check... and ZOMG, ZOMG, WTF, WTF, FUCKING HELL! I realize Dir en Grey is touring again - for their new full length album thats coming out in november. And... They're coming to Toronto and Montreal. I mean, I don't live beside those cities... But it's a plane ticket away. And... argh. I freak. Like, literally freak out. I didn't get to see Diru the first time they came here. It was horribly sad. So, I bring it up with my mom... 'Dir en grey... toronto... 2 and a half hour flight... only $1,000...' My mom: 'Nope'. My life sucks. If only I was turning 18 in september, and not 17. Then maybe I could have disobeyed my mom and decided on going anyway. The money isn't an issue. It's my parents. My life sucks. I just... want to see Jrock everywhere. Its my music. Its who I am. Why are my parents stopping me from wanting to go and see something thats a part of me? It sucks.

Sunday (Today): I went to the beach. But, I'm still upset about Diru. I'd love to see them. So fucking badly, it hurts. And after buying their DVD, its only made it worse. Because I realized how much I really DO love their music. But the beach was alright. I got a sunburn on my back... Because when I was in the process of sun screening my body, I forgot to include my back. Ha ha, I know. I'm a dork. But, now. I'm at home. And planning to go see 'MIRRORS', that new horror movie. My neighbours saw it last night. They said it was great. So... uhh, you know me and my horror addiction. I'm going to see it now, hehe. I'll do a review on it, for sure.

So, lets talk about this Dir en grey DVD I bought.
Rettou Gekishin Angya Final 2003 5 Ugly Kingdom

Rettou Gekishin Angya Final 2003 5 Ugly Kingdom is a live DVD and VHS released by Dir en grey on May 21, 2003. The featured concert was performed at the Yokohama Arena, as the last show of the year-long Rettou Gekishin Angya tour. This was the band's first live release to make use of a 16:9 aspect ratio and DTS audio (DVD only).
The Playlisting:
  1. "G.D.S."
  2. "Mr.Newsman"
  3. "Hades"
  4. "Umbrella"
  5. "Zomboid"
  6. "Children"
  7. "Bottom of the Death Valley"
  8. "Twentyfour Cylinders"
  9. "Karasu"
  10. "Ugly"
  11. "Gyakujoutannou Keloidmilk"
  12. "Mushi"
  13. "Drain Away"
  14. "Kigan"
  15. "The Domestic Fucker Family"
  16. "Jessica"
  17. "Byou「」Shin"
  18. "Ain't Afraid to Die"
  19. "Filth"
  20. "Karma"
  21. "[KR] Cube"
  22. "Child Prey"
  23. "Rasetsukoku"

I was super excited when I realized there were tons of songs on the DVD. I bought it because I heard the concert rocked, ha ha. I also liked Diru's look during this time period. Kyo... He is sexy in this DVD. During one song, Drain Away (maybe?), he gets all sensual and licks the microphone pole and grabs his croch. And... stuff. And I love Shinya's look too. I sound like a fangirl, ha ha. But, I didn't even read the track listing until the twenty second song started playing - 'Child Prey'. I screamed 'NO FUCKING WAY' and ran to turn up the TV to maximum volume. Child Prey is my favorite song... so, uhh - furthermore, I died and went to heaven. Ha ha.
But, I suggest that any Diru lover purchases this DVD. It's really decent. You get your monies worth, for sure.

So, this is long enough. I'll add a MIRRORS review sometime later. And do up some lovely Jrock graphics in honor of Diru's tour and my crazed DVD buying period. Bye for now.
