In Maryland

Let's start this story on Saturday.  I woke up at 5:30am to finish packing the truck and load my car on the tow dolly.  Well, it took me and Dad longer than we thought, so instead of leaving at 7 like I wanted, it was closer to 8.  But we managed to drive the Budget truck with car being towed, all the way to Maryland without incident! I figured this would give you a much better idea of life here than I would have given on Gtalk. :)

Thanks for telling me Vent won't work for me. I feel a lot better now. I have Skype up and working, and I'm liking it so far. I may still need a land line when I switch cell phones...I hear our service problems may have to do with the building/fire system and not the provider. But I'll have to chat with neighbors and find out. I hope I don't need one!

Ooh, you know what tv show you should watch if you can find it? Firefly. Fiddler on the Roof is a good movie option. :)
How's the local library? Is it as pretty as Gainesville's downtown library or as big as Orlando's downtown library?
As for the 4th, you really should blow at least one thing up (a.k.a. setting off a firework)

Good suggestions! I'll definitely look for them. The local library is just about as pretty as Gainesville's, except it's much smaller. 1/3 of the building is a meeting area, 1/3 is the children's area, and the last 1/3 is the adult library. Granted, the library system is for 3 counties but probably doesn't have more than 10 branches in all. I think it'll be ok for me (they have all 6 seasons of Dr. Quinn!!!!!), but there probably will be times when I can't find what I want. We'll see how it turns out.

I think fireworks are illegal to set off in Maryland. Not that that means that people won't do it anyway. :P I intend to go to see some fireworks, but probably not set them off myself.
