Author's Note: Thanks to kben who looked at this like...three months ago when I only had about half of it done and told me I was on the right track. And also thanks to faithlessfate who looked at the finished product a few weeks back when I finally did get it finished and gave me the thumbs up!

Dianna smiled down at her second mug of tea and the partner to it that she was preparing in the kitchen. Lea had just arrived in a relatively bad mood because her car decided not to start that morning, she’d had a bad day on set, and she was just generally pissed off at the world. Dianna, however, was feeling pretty damn good. She grabbed her plate of fresh brownies, she hadn’t tried them yet but if they were the same as all the others she’d made then they were absolutely amazing, and she set it on the tray with the two mugs of steaming liquid and joined Lea in the living room. The brunette was sitting on one end of the couch, legs curled under her. Dianna set the tray down on the coffee table and handed Lea a cup.

“Seriously,” Lea huffed. “I just don’t understand how Cory can not get the choreography! We rehearsed it for weeks! Twelve takes is completely ridiculous.”

“Mmhmm.” Dianna smiled and sat down next to the brunette, legs crossed. “Drink, you’ll feel better.”

Lea nodded and Dianna grabbed her stereo remote. She pressed a few buttons and Bowerbirds started softly playing, filling the space with music. She watched as Lea took a few sips of her drink and sputtered a bit.

“Di…this is very um…interesting.”

Dianna nodded and took a brownie from the plate and her cup. She dipped the corner of the sweet treat in her cup and took a bite, savoring the taste. She giggled.

“Dianna, what is in this?” Lea asked, taking another sip.

“Mmmm a little of this and a little of that. Just drink it. And have a brownie. I love this music.” Dianna took another bite of her brownie and again savored the taste. She took a deep drink from her mug and the music seemed to fill the space even more, surrounding her. The notes were warm and fuzzy, like a kitten. Or maybe a puppy. Or a puppy-kitten hybrid. Or perhaps outer space. Could a puppy-kitten hybrid survive in outer space? They would have to have magical abilities, for sure, being a puppy-kitten hybrid. What was that cartoon about a catdog? Oh yeah, CatDog.

“Like I was saying,” Lea said, breaking Dianna away from her fuzzy thoughts, “I just don’t understand what was so difficult about stepping and swaying. I mean, really, that’s all it was.”

“Baby animals are so adorable,” Dianna sighed. She finished her brownie and picked up another. She was starting to get hungrier. She dunked it in her tea and smiled and the crumbs. They formed a shape that looked like a skull. And skulls were just amazing. Like the ones she saw in the Catacombs in Europe. Maybe one day people would look at her bones like that.

“Look at my tea,” Dianna said, thrusting the mug at Lea who was now looking at her with an incredibly puzzled look on her face. “The crumbs look like a skull.”

Lea looked down in the mug and back up at her girlfriend, puzzled.

“They look like crumbs to me.”

“No, baby, no!” Dianna scooted closer to Lea, practically crawling on top of her. “Look at them closer.”

“Dianna…”

“You should drink more of your tea. You’ve hardly touched it.” Dianna pulled away and drained the rest of her cup and polished off her second brownie.

“Dianna, what is in this?”

Dianna just smiled. “It’s vegan approved.”

“I know that, sweetie, but what did you put in it?”

Dianna nudged the mug up towards Lea’s lips. “Drink. Don’t you trust me?”

Lea just sighed and nodded. She touched the mug to her lips and sipped again. Dianna dropped her head back to rest against the couch and smiled. She let the music wrap around her again, the notes were dancing off her skin now. The song was slow and beautiful, perfectly matching her mood. She opened her eyes again at the sound of Lea putting her mug back down on the tray.

“Sorry, Di, it’s just a really weird taste. I can’t finish it.”

“Have a brownie. They’re really good.”

“Dianna, look at me.”

The blonde sighed and with a smile tilted her head back up and looked at her girlfriend. Lea was so gorgeous. Dianna reached forward and stroked the brunette’s arm. Her skin was soft, like silk or velvet or satin. She could touch Lea all night long. That was a good idea, actually. She ignored the fact that Lea was looking at her with extreme concern and she leaned over to kiss her girlfriend. Lea’s lips were soft against hers. It was perfect. With the music notes dancing around them and the warm, fuzzy feeling overtaking her body she thought this might actually be the best idea she’d ever had. Aside from getting the octopus, of course. That was just pure brilliance.

Lea pushed her away gently and ran her thumbs over Dianna’s cheeks.

“Dianna,” Lea said sweetly, “honey, you’re stoned out of your fucking mind aren’t you?”

“Uh-huh!” Dianna said with a grin and a furious nod. She stayed about an inch away from Lea’s face. Lea smelled so good. Like the color yellow, which has a magnificent scent. Kind of like buttercup mixed with sunshine.

“And why are you trying to get me stoned, too?”

“Because I love you and you had a bad day and I wanted to make you feel good, baaaaby.” Lea was asking too many questions. Too many words, not enough touching. Dianna threaded her fingers through Lea’s hair and smiled. This sensation was amazing. Her hair was so soft and it just enhanced the color yellow scent that Dianna was trying to inhale as much of as possible.

“I thought you quit?”

Dianna pressed another kiss to Lea’s lips. “I quit smoking it when the show was picked up and I had to sing,” she said when she pulled away. Lea tasted like mint. And blue. Blue and yellow make green. Lea looked so pretty in green.

Lea sighed. “I should’ve known when your blog posts didn’t get any less weird.”

Dianna leaned down and nuzzled her nose into Lea’s neck. She placed a few kisses and inhaled the scent as much as she could between suppressing giggles and trying to ignore the hunger that was brewing in her stomach. She was torn between the feel of Lea’s skin and the want for another brownie. Perhaps she could have both…Dianna reached for another brownie and tore off a corner. She smiled and held it to Lea’s lips.

“Di, I don’t want to get high.”

“But…I can’t decide between you and a brownie.”

Lea sighed. “You don’t need another brownie.”

“But I’m hungry.”

“If you eat another one you’ll only get hungrier.”

Dianna blinked a few times. Her mind drifted from her stomach to her clothes. She wasn’t entirely fond of them in that moment. Why couldn’t humans just walk around without them? That’s what they used to do, right? And dressing up pets is just ridiculous. Back to the point though, she didn’t like what she was wearing. Nor did she like what Lea was wearing. What better way to remedy it than to strip down? Oh, and then there would be more touching. More silky skin. She sat up and pulled her shirt off, Lea looked at her with eyes wide.

“Dianna…”

“Dressing up pets is ridiculous.”

Lea groaned. “Okay sweetheart.”

Dianna tugged at the hem of Lea’s shirt and the brunette sighed. She raised her arms above her head and Dianna pulled the shirt off and smiled at Lea’s lack of bra. It wasn’t that uncommon. But she still liked it. So much tan skin that tasted so good. She leaned back down on top of Lea and kissed down her neck. Dianna trailed her fingers up the brunette’s stomach and smiled. God, Lea was so soft. Fingers were tugging at her bra strap and she thought that maybe Lea was the smartest person on the face of the planet at that moment for wanting to remove even more clothes. Just as her bra hit the floor she moved back up to Lea’s lips and took the brunette’s bottom lip between her teeth and pulled back.

“You’re so delicious,” Dianna murmured. She settled her weight on top of Lea and moaned at the sensation of their skin rubbing together. She could do this all day. And all night. And she fully intended to until the doorbell rang. She sat up and furrowed her eyebrows before grabbing her t-shirt and floating (Yes, floating. She could levitate. And it was so awesome.) to the door. She looked out and saw a man standing there with a pizza box waiting patiently.

“Pizza delivery for Agron?” the young man said. “Large veggie delight on vegan crust?”

“Oh my God!” Dianna exclaimed with a huge smile. “Lea! Lea! Pizza! Oh my God it’s like magic…I am so hungry right now…” Dianna grinned and Lea was at her side, pulling her away from the door.

“Sorry about her,” Lea mumbled. “How much?”

“Seventeen fifty.”

Lea went to the living room to grab her purse and Dianna wandered her way back to the front door. The young man held out the pizza box and Dianna gasped excitedly.

“Lea! Pizza! This smells so good!” God she loved pizza. She really loved this magical pizza that appeared at her door though. It would definitely taste better than any regular non-magical pizza.

“Dianna,” Lea said, hurrying back to the door. “Sweetie, take the pizza into the kitchen.”

“Magical pizza!” Dianna scampered to the kitchen and dropped the pizza on the countertop. She opened the box and was met with a wonderful scent of freshly baked pizza and she immediately picked up a slice and shoved almost half of it in her mouth. It was hot but she didn’t really care at that point. It tasted so. Damn. Good.

“Babe, you’re going to choke to death if you eat the slice whole.”

Dianna swallowed her huge bite and grinned. “Best pizza ever!”

“I’m sure it is, Di. I ordered it before I came over.”

Lea grabbed a couple of plates from the kitchen cabinet and by the time she had returned to the table Dianna had already polished off her first slice and was reaching for another. She savored this one a bit longer, enjoying the taste of the vegetables. Vegetables. Those were good. She should plant a vegetable garden so she could make her own magical pizza. There was a pain in her finger and she looked down at it curiously to see teeth marks and no pizza. She looked over at Lea who was rummaging through the refrigerator.

“Hey! You stole my magical pizza!”

Lea turned around and raised an eyebrow. “What are you talking about?”

“It was in my hand and then it was gone!”

“You ate it, sweetheart. No more brownies for you tonight, okay?”

Dianna growled and picked up her third slice and Lea rejoined her at the table and picked up her first. They ate quietly. Dianna could hear the music coming from the living room still and she smiled. She watched as Lea slowly chewed her food and stared off into space. Dianna finished her third slice and slipped her hand over Lea’s thigh and ran her hand up and down the girl’s leg.

“Di, can I eat before you get frisky, please?”

“You could eat me,” Dianna giggled.

Lea rolled her eyes and smiled. “Two slices then I promise, I’ll have you for dessert.”

Dianna waited patiently and nibbled on a fourth slice of pizza while Lea took her time finishing her second one. The minute the brunette was finished Dianna leapt out of her chair and ran to the bedroom. She pounced on the mattress and bounced a little, that was a fun feeling. She bounced a little more and it was even better. The more she bounced the more calm came over her and she smiled and bounced until the calm became too much for her to have enough energy to bounce anymore. She decided to lie down for just a little bit since Lea was taking forever in the kitchen. She nestled her head on one of the pillows. It was like a cloud. A big fluffy cloud. Up in the sky. With rainbows and birds and angels. She giggled and her mind wandered off into sleep.

Dianna awoke the next morning with Lea snuggled up to her back and she smiled. She pulled herself out of bed and went into the kitchen to start coffee. She opened the refrigerator to grab the coffee canister and stopped when she saw a plate with two slices of pizza on it.

“Magical pizza,” she said with a chuckle.
