BB countdown 2.0
Since I changed my BB fic again this weekend (dear god, I do have an attention deficit problem, don't I?), it's time for a new count-down.
Let's take this as my new (and hopefully final) starting point for spn_j2_bigbang 2011:
I have written 10,294 of 50,000 words.
I am now 20.58% done!

Why 50k? Well, I am trying to be realistic here. I am building a fucking universe right now (and Chad is helping, good boy!) and I am not yet done with introduction and only scraping the plot marginally, so saying it'll be 20k like the requirements are would be such a huge ass lie, I can't even begin to say... So I make a vague estimate that is to make the basic story well readable, logical and interesting I'd estimate 50k... if I still have spoons left after that it will probably grow bigger.
I promised myself not to enter a huge story like last year and now look at me! This one will probably be bigger. I'm such a stupid girl. why am I breaking my own promises? Because I know I won't write this fic otherwise and it deserves a chance at being read. It really does.
Soooo, now that I managed to change stories once more, do I get to post a new snippet on the community?
This will be my first time BB (even though it's really my second BB). Why?
- first time I'm worried to get done in time
- first time Chad gets a POV
- first time I am really verse-building from scratch (and no, I do not count Company of Wolves as a real universe... it's kind of undefined in too many ways because I was lazy and didn't want to go through the trouble of actually coming up with ways to tell you all the things that I know are there in that verse :P)
- first time I am going for an epic fantasy adventure (again, itCoW doesn't count... it's not an adventure. It's a love story :P)
We'll see how I'll do.
