d20 GI Joe
I had fun roleplaying this week with B!, astos17, icespark, and kepulver. We continued the d20 GI Joe campaign I’d started for sarah9380 (who has since decided that GI Joe isn’t her thing), so I took over playing Vypra, and B!, astos17, icespark, and kepulver wound up playing HEAT-Viper 58, Over Kill, Techno-Viper 88, and Metal-Head, respectively.
Thursday’s session picked up where my last session with sarah9380 left off -- Vypra and Shadow-Viper 60 waiting for Copperhead, Shadow-Viper 12, and two Swamp Rats to get back from a recon mission of the Dreadnok base, which had been captured by GI Joe. While they were waiting, Metal-Head and Over Kill showed up in another hydrofoil, claiming to be backup (with HEAT-Viper 58, Techno-Viper 88, and two BATs in tow). After introductions were made, Copperhead showed up and gave a report on the Joe defenses, but unfortunately he'd been seen, which led two of the Joes back to Vypra's position. Over Kill spotted them with his infrared, and a battle ensued in which the Joes were eventually driven off, but not before both Swamp Rats were killed (by friendly fire, no less). The Joes obviously know Cobra is there, though, and the session ended with Cobra thinking, "Well, hell, what do we do now?" Vypra's suggestion to burn the ships and fake their deaths has been noted and is possibly being considered. *grin*
I can’t wait ‘til next time I see astos17 and kepulver so we can all play again, hopefully with ewysiwyg and daddy_tank as well. Cobraaaaa!
