He seek for truth, he yearned for what really happened and why things are going this and that. But what if he is going further to what is already near to him? Is everything gone too late to change? Chapter 26 - Part 2
"Escape"
With an unknown reason, Kota's existence vanished in the surface of the world for three days already. He didn't contact anyone, he didn't show himself to anyone and he didn't go back to anyone. His whereabouts were nothing to be found and that just cause worries and problems to people who cares for him. He closed the door for communications and build a wall to hide himself so that no one can see him and disturb him at all.
Yuya also have a problem regarding the agency since Kota was not attending the meetings where he plays a big part. Arimoto was getting mad because of Kota's sudden disappearance without telling anything and it really cause big commotion inside the agency. There are lots of things to do before their debut but it seems like Kota was taking it for granted and so all the frustration that Aritomo have was delivered to Yuya who is his friend. Yuya can't say a thing but excuse. He didn't know what's wrong as well and so he have no idea what to say. He always knew that Kota is a man of mystery, he was not easy to read and if he have a problem he is not a type of person who just come and be open about it. There was only one person who can understand Kota to its finest but even Kei didn't know what was going on with his own boyfriend.
"Kei, you really don't have any idea where Kota is right now?" Yuya asked Kei after class. "Is he not contacting you?" he asked him again.
"No. He don't reply my message nor answer my call." Kei answered softly.
"Things are going insane inside the agency because of him. They push me all the trouble because he is in the same school as I am and they think that we are friends. I’m going crazy telling excuses to everyone and I am running out of something to say. Where the hell is that guy anyway? If he have problems then why did he need to run away? Is he a coward? Escaping like this means that he was a coward." Yuya complained. He was also frustrated for everything that is happening but what really get into his nerves is the fact that Kota was making Kei said because of his disappearance. He knew that among all the people, it was Kei who was more worried about him. The usual smile on his face was gone, he doesn't have appetite to eat and he was silent most of the times.
"Don't worry I'll try to contact him again and I'll inform you. As of now… c…can you handle his matters to the agency?"
"I guess I can…" Yuya answered while scratching his head. "Are you alright? You look exhausted. I guess you should rest too. Your getting thinner actually. You should take care of yourself. I am sure that guy was alright."
"Yo." Hikaru greeted the two as he interrupted them. "I have some info about Kou." he announced. "I saw Kota's little sister at the gate. Her name was Haruka and she was thinking if Kota was going to school but I told her he was not. She said that Kota was not going back to their home either. He and his mother have an argument the night before his disappearance and it was really tragic she told me."
"Argument with his mother?" Yuya asked. "Is it big enough for Kota to hide himself like this?"
"It was maybe about the contract." Kei whispered.
"Contract? You mean the debut thing?" Hikaru asked Kei. "Why is that the possible reason? Everyone will be happy if you heard someone will debut in that big agency without a sweat."
"Kota's mother didn't want him to do things regarding music and so maybe…" Kei answered but he didn't finished it till the end. Yuya and Hikaru was left guessing what Kei wanted to say but they can understand his anxiousness towards Kota's disappearance. Among all the people, Kei is the most worried about him and no one else. "I… I need to go." Kei told the two and both just agreed with it.
"Daiki was busy for his interview right? You know… about the France thing." Yuya started another topic when they reached the gate of their school and on their way out. "He rarely send messages to me."
"That's better than not receiving anything." Hikaru muttered.
"Did you say something?" Yuya asked him back but Hikaru just give him a big smile and bumped him a little. "What's your problem?"
"It's so cold. I can feel the chill all over my body. Winter is starting and we already change to our winter uniform. Yuya do you want to eat some ramen? It's your off right? Treat me, I know you are earning a lot after that very successful magazine that you have."
"Are you planning to empty my wallet?" Yuya asked him with an intention of joking. He just move a little and his peripheral vision saw Ryosuke standing at their back. He immediately turned back confirming that it was really him. "Yo, good day."
“Yuya, I… I want to give you something.” He continued as he get it from his bag. It was a pink envelop and he give it to him.
“Love letter from Ryosuke? Are the two of you an item already?” HIkaru asked.
“It’s not from me… it’s from a fan. Also can you come with me after class. I… I wanted to eat together.” Ryosuke said.
“Nice timing.” Hikaru said. “Me and Yuya were planning to have some ramen. You want to join us? It's his treat so don't worry about cost."
“Yuya is free today?" Ryosuke asked timidly. "Th…then…"
"What? Don't you like it?" Hikaru asked him.
"I…I like it bu…but… c…can it…" Ryosuke scrambled his words making it hard to understand. Yuya noticed that awkwardness of Ryosuke who can't composed what he really wanted to say but for some reason he think that it was cute of him. He was like a puppy wanting to be pat by his master but was embarrassed. "I want to go out with Yuya alone." he finally said and that surprised the two since Ryosuke's voice volume up from his usual tone. At the same time, Hikaru's phone ring and so answered the call leaving the two for a moment. Ryosuke feels so ashamed to look at Yuya in the face and so he just pretend that he was busy on his cellphone but Yuya didn't said anything making him feel more awkward.
Hikaru finished handling the call and he goes back to them. "Nice timing." he whispered. "It's seems like I am not free. My sis asked me to do some errands. So… I'll leave the two of you for a date?"
"I….it's not a date." Ryosuke denied. "I mean… I… I just want to eat with Yuya…so…something like that."
"Alright, whatever it is. Bye." Hikaru smiled back at them for the last time and he take off. Now they are back being all alone again. Ryosuke sighed as he tilted his head from left to right like he was uncomfortable. His heart was beating faster by just being alone to Yuya as he remembered what he just said in the playground that night.
"Should we go the ramen house then?" Yuya broke the silence. Ryosuke just nodded back.

"Kei, I'm back. Matt brought us some freshly bake bread from their bakery… do you want to eat?" Noren asked while she was putting her shoes on the shelf. She switched the light on since the place was dark and then put all the paper bag on the kitchen table. She tie her hair up and wear her apron to prepare for dinner. "Kei, are you doing your assignment?" she asked again when no one was responding to her. She started to get worried and so she went upstairs to check on him but he was not around his room then she jolted when she heard someone coughing. She immediately went to Kei's room bathroom and saw him there having a hard time to breathe and clenching on his chest while his other hand was covering his mouth. "Kei… Kei… are you alright? Kei…"
Kei take off his hand from his mouth and then he showed it to Noren who was shocked and teary about what she saw. She immediately hugged Kei tightly as tears starts to flow from her eyes.
"Mom…." Kei whispered as his hand just drop to the floor because it feels so weak. There is a red substance on his hand and it was no doubt his own blood.

Hikaru entered a bakery shop and went to the counter where he talked to the cashier lady. His sister ordered some cookies and she wanted him to pick it up since something urgent happened so she was not able to get it. While waiting for the order he looked around and saw someone familiar in the customers. It was Jean, the guy who was hitting on Daiki the other night and he was with a girl and no matter how you see it the two are dating each other.
"What the hell was that… isn't he two timing?" Hikaru muttered.
"Sir this are the cookies." the cashier lady said, putting the paper bag in front of him. He picked his wallet and paid for it while still looking at Jean and the girl. "Are you staring at Jean?" the girl asked all of a sudden.
"Huh? I…it's not what you think… I… I don't swing that way." Hikaru immediately defended himself.
"I apologized but that is not what I mean… that guy always bring girls here and so we already knew who he was. But despite dating girls there is a rumor that he was actually gay. It's a waste since he is good looking and tall." the girl said. She give Hikaru's change and after that he leave the place.

"It's rare for you to invite me, is there something about this? Did my feelings finally reach you?" Yuya asked while Ryosuke was taking a sip on his ramen.
"I..it's not like that. Like I told you, you should just give up." Ryosuke told him. "My feelings for you already gone and also you just concentrate on what you have to do. You are now a working individual and you're going to debut soon, you will be famous with girls and everyone will be intrigued about you. Simple things will be a huge matters to your fans and so if they knew that… yo…you are into guys then…"
"I don't really care if they knew."
"What are you talking about? That is not good at all."
"It's true that it was not good. I may loss people who will be my support but… I don't really care as long as you are supporting me." Yuya said smiling making Ryosuke blush but he tried to hide it by scratching his nose.
"It's wrong to say that." Ryosuke muttered then he continue to eat his ramen without looking at Yuya in the eyes.
"Yamada-san?" a familiar voice resounds from Ryosuke's ears, he look up and saw Cheska Kumiwazawa standing besides him. "I didn't know that you are here."
"Kumi-san." Ryosuke called. "Wh…what are you doing here? I mean… are you alone?"
"Yeah… I… I'm hungry so I went here but I am alone." Cheska answered.
"Th…then do you want to eat with us?" Ryosuke offered then he look at Yuya who has a puzzled look on his face since he didn't know the girl Ryosuke was talking to. "She can share with us right? By the way she is my friend Cheska Kumiwazawa, she's from the sister school. This is Yuya Takaki… my friend." he introduced the two.
"I knew… he is famous." Cheska said softly. "Nice meeting you, Takaki-san."
"Me too." Yuya answered. "I didn't know that Ryo have a friend in our sister school… so how long are you friends?" he asked out of curiosity.
"5 months." Ryosuke replied back.
"A year." Cheska answered at the same time Ryosuke replied.
"What is it really? Your answer… are not compatible at all." Yuya questioned.
"I…it's actually a year." Ryosuke corrected himself. "I just mistook my answer to the book that I am reading. It's a year that we became friends. I met here when I ran an errand from the school council towards the sister school and she end up to be an official as well."
"That's how things works for us." Cheska confirmed. She look at Yuya's bowl and noticed that he ordered a seafood ramen. "I… I like seafood ramen too. Is it your favorite Takaki-san?"
"No." Yuya replied honestly. "It is Ryo's favorite though."
"Really… even we are friends i… I didn't know that." Cheska said softly.
After that the three became silent. Yuya just continue eating his ramen while Ryosuke and Cheska are just sitting side by side each other. After a few minutes Cheska's order arrived and then that time Ryosuke's phone ring and so he answered the call outside. After 30 seconds he came back and said that he need to leave since his mother was looking for him. "Yuya, take care of Kumi-san for me. I…I need to go. Bye."
"Huh? Already…" Yuya complained but Ryosuke was not able to hear that.
"I…I'm sorry of disturbing you." Cheska said shyly.
"It's fine… just eat.. I'll wait for you to finish." Yuya said.
Ryosuke breathe deeply as he exit the ramen house. He look back and saw that Cheska was smiling and Yuya too. "This is… for the best right?" he whispered to himself. "Yeah… I know it was."

Kei calmed down after drinking his medicine. Noren helped him change his clothes and go to bed. She also cleaned the mess in Kei's bathroom before she went downstairs to cook for dinner. When she was done, she bring some into Kei's room and asked him again if he is feeling well. "Should I bring you to the doctor?" she asked for the nth time.
"Mom, I'm fine. If I will go to the hospital I will just be confined and… I don't like that." Kei answered.
"I am just worried. You can't blame me." Noren pouted. "Here, I made something warm and soft for you. You should eat this and then rest immediately."
"Okay."
"How about Kota? Do you have news about him?"
"I don't. He didn't go to school today as well. Teachers are already wondering why and it seems like his own family is in mess. Hikaru met his little sister and she just burst into crying. He don't even reply to my messages. It's like… he was totally gone. Maybe… it was so hard for him to handle and so… he was escaping reality or something like that." Kei told her. "I don't know what I am doing here… I should be besides him and comforting him."
"Don't sweat on it Kei… think of your own self first and then ones he came back then just give him all the support that you can give. I will also support your back." Noren smiled and then pat his head. "I'll be at the kitchen, if something happened just press that button okay?"
"Mom… thank you… for agreeing to each of my selfish desire." Kei said.
"You’re my son… you deserved to be spoiled by your own mother."
"But… I don't understand Kota's mother at all… if only… she was like you."
"Kei, you can't judge her by the small facts that you knew about her. She has her own circumstances that brought her to be like that. But she is the hardest type of person to handle. Hard headed and stubborn and she will not believe anything unless she saw things with her own eyes. But you know… Suzanne is still a mother. I am sure… in the future things will be alright between those two." Noren advised and then after that she continue going downstairs and fixed stuffs.
Kei finished eating his food but he didn't it was just half touched. He doesn't have appetite to finished the food that his mother cook for him. He put it in the corner so that it will be easy for his mother to pick it up. He get his phone and then check the messages but no reply from Kota.
GOODBYE AUTUMN, HELLO WINTER. EVEN IT'S JUST 3 DAYS THAT WE DIDN'T SEE EACH OTHER I ALREADY MISSES YOU. ARE YOU FEELING THE SAME WAY? WHEN ARE YOU COMING BACK? EVERYONE WAS ALREADY WORRIED ABOUT YOU. I KNOW IT IS NOT ONLY ME AND OUR FRIENDS BUT ALSO YOUR FAMILY. PLEASE CONTACT US… PLEASE KOTA… REPLY ON MY MESSAGE… I BEG YOU.
THEY SAID THAT TODAY WILL BE THE FIRST SNOW OF THIS YEAR… I… I WANT TO SEE IT WITH YOU. IF ONLY YOU ARE HERE.
Kei went to the window and slide his curtain to the side. As he opened it he saw a small snow floating in the space. It seems like his timing was perfect to witness the first snowfall of the year. He fixed his eyes towards that snow ball coming down, secretly wishing that he could see Kota already. As he continue looking at it something attracted his attention. By the gate, someone familiar was standing.
He immediately put on his slippers and get his sweater that was hanging near his window. He run out of his room, through the staircase passing through the living room where his mother was watching television. "Kei-chan, don't run… that's dangerous." Noren immediately said as she follows him through the door.
Kei opened the door panting. While standing there he saw Kota standing in front of their gate who seems shocked to see him as well. "Kota… Kota… Ko…Kota.." he whispered repeatedly. Just wearing his house fluffy slipper, Kei walk outside and immediately opened the gate for Kota. "Wh…wh…what the hell is wrong with you?" Kei burst out. "Why didn't you reply on my messages? Why didn't you answer my call? Where the hell did you go? Why are you gone for 3 days without contacting anyone?"
"Kei… wa…wait… aren't you cold? You are just wearing a house slipper…"
"Answer me Kota Yabu." he shouted making Kota stunned and also Noren who is about to go outside with blanket to cover the two from the cold. She saw Kota when Kei opened the door and so she goes back and get another one for him. "Yo…you made me worried you asshole." he whispered. "I thought… I thought something happened to you. I thought… I thought you will not come back anymore. I.. I'm so worried."
Kota's heartstrings seems pulled when he saw Kei's teary eyes. It was the first time Kei treated him like that. He immediately hugged him, feeling the warmth that he long to feel all this days that he hide from the reality. "I'm back." he whispered.
"You owe me an explanation." Kei replied back. Noren witness the heartwarming reunion of lovers but she need to interrupted it immediately because it was so cold outside. She approached the two teens and then dragged inside the house.
Author's Note: Part 2 is posted>___< This will be my last update for March. I will be busy this few weeks since my Aunt from the US will arrive and i need to entertain them and also i will have an in coming exam and so i need to review for that. I am not sure when i will be back but i am sure it will be around April already so for now just enjoy this update.

She started to get worried and so she went upstairs to check on him but he was not around his room then she jolted when she heard someone coughing. She immediately went to Kei's room bathroom and saw him there having a hard time to breathe and clenching on his chest while his other hand was covering his mouth. "Kei… Kei… are you alright? Kei…"
Kei take off his hand from his mouth and then he showed it to Noren who was shocked and teary about what she saw. She immediately hugged Kei tightly as tears starts to flow from her eyes.
"Mom…." Kei whispered as his hand just drop to the floor because it feels so weak. There is a red substance on his hand and it was no doubt his own blood.

Hikaru entered a bakery shop and went to the counter where he talked to the cashier lady. His sister ordered some cookies and she wanted him to pick it up since something urgent happened so she was not able to get it. While waiting for the order he looked around and saw someone familiar in the customers. It was Jean, the guy who was hitting on Daiki the other night and he was with a girl and no matter how you see it the two are dating each other.
"What the hell was that… isn't he two timing?" Hikaru muttered.
"Sir this are the cookies." the cashier lady said, putting the paper bag in front of him. He picked his wallet and paid for it while still looking at Jean and the girl. "Are you staring at Jean?" the girl asked all of a sudden.
"Huh? I…it's not what you think… I… I don't swing that way." Hikaru immediately defended himself.
"I apologized but that is not what I mean… that guy always bring girls here and so we already knew who he was. But despite dating girls there is a rumor that he was actually gay. It's a waste since he is good looking and tall." the girl said. She give Hikaru's change and after that he leave the place.

"It's rare for you to invite me, is there something about this? Did my feelings finally reach you?" Yuya asked while Ryosuke was taking a sip on his ramen.
"I..it's not like that. Like I told you, you should just give up." Ryosuke told him. "My feelings for you already gone and also you just concentrate on what you have to do. You are now a working individual and you're going to debut soon, you will be famous with girls and everyone will be intrigued about you. Simple things will be a huge matters to your fans and so if they knew that… yo…you are into guys then…"
"I don't really care if they knew."
"What are you talking about? That is not good at all."
"It's true that it was not good. I may loss people who will be my support but… I don't really care as long as you are supporting me." Yuya said smiling making Ryosuke blush but he tried to hide it by scratching his nose.
"It's wrong to say that." Ryosuke muttered then he continue to eat his ramen without looking at Yuya in the eyes.
"Yamada-san?" a familiar voice resounds from Ryosuke's ears, he look up and saw Cheska Kumiwazawa standing besides him. "I didn't know that you are here."
"Kumi-san." Ryosuke called. "Wh…what are you doing here? I mean… are you alone?"
"Yeah… I… I'm hungry so I went here but I am alone." Cheska answered.
"Th…then do you want to eat with us?" Ryosuke offered then he look at Yuya who has a puzzled look on his face since he didn't know the girl Ryosuke was talking to. "She can share with us right? By the way she is my friend Cheska Kumiwazawa, she's from the sister school. This is Yuya Takaki… my friend." he introduced the two.
"I knew… he is famous." Cheska said softly. "Nice meeting you, Takaki-san."
"Me too." Yuya answered. "I didn't know that Ryo have a friend in our sister school… so how long are you friends?" he asked out of curiosity.
"5 months." Ryosuke replied back.
"A year." Cheska answered at the same time Ryosuke replied.
"What is it really? Your answer… are not compatible at all." Yuya questioned.
"I…it's actually a year." Ryosuke corrected himself. "I just mistook my answer to the book that I am reading. It's a year that we became friends. I met here when I ran an errand from the school council towards the sister school and she end up to be an official as well."
"That's how things works for us." Cheska confirmed. She look at Yuya's bowl and noticed that he ordered a seafood ramen. "I… I like seafood ramen too. Is it your favorite Takaki-san?"
"No." Yuya replied honestly. "It is Ryo's favorite though."
"Really… even we are friends i… I didn't know that." Cheska said softly.
After that the three became silent. Yuya just continue eating his ramen while Ryosuke and Cheska are just sitting side by side each other. After a few minutes Cheska's order arrived and then that time Ryosuke's phone ring and so he answered the call outside. After 30 seconds he came back and said that he need to leave since his mother was looking for him. "Yuya, take care of Kumi-san for me. I…I need to go. Bye."
"Huh? Already…" Yuya complained but Ryosuke was not able to hear that.
"I…I'm sorry of disturbing you." Cheska said shyly.
"It's fine… just eat.. I'll wait for you to finish." Yuya said.
Ryosuke breathe deeply as he exit the ramen house. He look back and saw that Cheska was smiling and Yuya too. "This is… for the best right?" he whispered to himself. "Yeah… I know it was."

Kei calmed down after drinking his medicine. Noren helped him change his clothes and go to bed. She also cleaned the mess in Kei's bathroom before she went downstairs to cook for dinner. When she was done, she bring some into Kei's room and asked him again if he is feeling well. "Should I bring you to the doctor?" she asked for the nth time.
"Mom, I'm fine. If I will go to the hospital I will just be confined and… I don't like that." Kei answered.
"I am just worried. You can't blame me." Noren pouted. "Here, I made something warm and soft for you. You should eat this and then rest immediately."
"Okay."
"How about Kota? Do you have news about him?"
"I don't. He didn't go to school today as well. Teachers are already wondering why and it seems like his own family is in mess. Hikaru met his little sister and she just burst into crying. He don't even reply to my messages. It's like… he was totally gone. Maybe… it was so hard for him to handle and so… he was escaping reality or something like that." Kei told her. "I don't know what I am doing here… I should be besides him and comforting him."
"Don't sweat on it Kei… think of your own self first and then ones he came back then just give him all the support that you can give. I will also support your back." Noren smiled and then pat his head. "I'll be at the kitchen, if something happened just press that button okay?"
"Mom… thank you… for agreeing to each of my selfish desire." Kei said.
"You’re my son… you deserved to be spoiled by your own mother."
"But… I don't understand Kota's mother at all… if only… she was like you."
"Kei, you can't judge her by the small facts that you knew about her. She has her own circumstances that brought her to be like that. But she is the hardest type of person to handle. Hard headed and stubborn and she will not believe anything unless she saw things with her own eyes. But you know… Suzanne is still a mother. I am sure… in the future things will be alright between those two." Noren advised and then after that she continue going downstairs and fixed stuffs.
Kei finished eating his food but he didn't it was just half touched. He doesn't have appetite to finished the food that his mother cook for him. He put it in the corner so that it will be easy for his mother to pick it up. He get his phone and then check the messages but no reply from Kota.
GOODBYE AUTUMN, HELLO WINTER. EVEN IT'S JUST 3 DAYS THAT WE DIDN'T SEE EACH OTHER I ALREADY MISSES YOU. ARE YOU FEELING THE SAME WAY? WHEN ARE YOU COMING BACK? EVERYONE WAS ALREADY WORRIED ABOUT YOU. I KNOW IT IS NOT ONLY ME AND OUR FRIENDS BUT ALSO YOUR FAMILY. PLEASE CONTACT US… PLEASE KOTA… REPLY ON MY MESSAGE… I BEG YOU.
THEY SAID THAT TODAY WILL BE THE FIRST SNOW OF THIS YEAR… I… I WANT TO SEE IT WITH YOU. IF ONLY YOU ARE HERE.
Kei went to the window and slide his curtain to the side. As he opened it he saw a small snow floating in the space. It seems like his timing was perfect to witness the first snowfall of the year. He fixed his eyes towards that snow ball coming down, secretly wishing that he could see Kota already. As he continue looking at it something attracted his attention. By the gate, someone familiar was standing.
He immediately put on his slippers and get his sweater that was hanging near his window. He run out of his room, through the staircase passing through the living room where his mother was watching television. "Kei-chan, don't run… that's dangerous." Noren immediately said as she follows him through the door.
Kei opened the door panting. While standing there he saw Kota standing in front of their gate who seems shocked to see him as well. "Kota… Kota… Ko…Kota.." he whispered repeatedly. Just wearing his house fluffy slipper, Kei walk outside and immediately opened the gate for Kota. "Wh…wh…what the hell is wrong with you?" Kei burst out. "Why didn't you reply on my messages? Why didn't you answer my call? Where the hell did you go? Why are you gone for 3 days without contacting anyone?"
"Kei… wa…wait… aren't you cold? You are just wearing a house slipper…"
"Answer me Kota Yabu." he shouted making Kota stunned and also Noren who is about to go outside with blanket to cover the two from the cold. She saw Kota when Kei opened the door and so she goes back and get another one for him. "Yo…you made me worried you asshole." he whispered. "I thought… I thought something happened to you. I thought… I thought you will not come back anymore. I.. I'm so worried."
Kota's heartstrings seems pulled when he saw Kei's teary eyes. It was the first time Kei treated him like that. He immediately hugged him, feeling the warmth that he long to feel all this days that he hide from the reality. "I'm back." he whispered.
"You owe me an explanation." Kei replied back. Noren witness the heartwarming reunion of lovers but she need to interrupted it immediately because it was so cold outside. She approached the two teens and then dragged inside the house.

I will be busy this few weeks since my Aunt from the US will arrive and i need to entertain them and also i will have an in coming exam and so i need to review for that. I am not sure when i will be back but i am sure it will be around April already so for now just enjoy this update.
