SUMMARY: Hatred turned to love, silence turned to seeking and lies become truth. Kota just hit the rock bottom making him realize that memories should not remained unlock. He seek for truth, he yearned for what really happened and why things are going this and that. But what if he is going further to what is already near to him? Is everything gone too late to change? Everyone is given curiosity and so will you open the box as well?

Chapter 24
"Reunion"
"I'm sorry but I don't know what you are talking about." Kota answered back.
"Am I mistaken?" Yamato asked himself. "No… I am sure it was you. You talk the same way as you did before. It was definitely you but my bad… it's been a long time so maybe you can't remember me. Well I am a year older than you are when we are in elementary student in Myojin. I am fat boy that time and everyone bully me as pig…. Can't you… still remember me?"
"Myojin?"
"Yeah… Myojin Academy. Well I heard that you met an accident and after that I never saw you anymore. Everyone thought that you are already dead but now that I see you I know you were not." Yamato continued.
"I…I'm sorry but I can't remember." Kota told him honestly and Yamato just showed a disappointed expression on his face. "I lost my memories when I met that accident and I can't remember my past but…a…are you sure about what you are telling me? You knew who I am before the accident?"
"Well… I kinda knew you because you tried to save me from the bully but since we were not classmate and same level I don't know that much about you. But it's bad to hear about what happened to you. To loss your memories… I thought you just didn't recognize me because I loss weight." Yamato chuckled. "But I am sure it was you… there's no way I will forget the face of someone who did something good to me. Well if you want to know something about your past then I can tell you though my knowledge is limited since we don't talk that much and I can only see you from the distance."
"Th…then please tell me. I… I want to know." Kota said enthusiastically. It's an opportunity for him to know his past. He was not sure if he can trust this guy yet but he will just judge when he already hear what he is about to say.
"Well I can talk to you but not today since I have something to do. If you want tomorrow after the meeting."
"I can't… I have something to do… maybe on Sunday same hour in this place."
"Alright… fine with me. Nice meeting you again." Yamato said.

Hikaru didn't touch his dinner. He just sit down there and spacing out. His mind is thinking about Daiki and also what he heard from Ryosuke that he will going to France and Daiki even didn't say a thing about it to him. He knew that they were not in good terms but they are still friends and being left out make him feel unease. His mother, father and big sister are worried about him since he is not in his usual self. He thought that he was sick again but he was not.
“Thanks for the food.” Hikaru said as he stands up and went straight to his room. Hikaru's mother was worried about him and so she asked Hayna, Hikaru's big sister to talk to him and asked what's wrong with their son. After dinner Hayna went to Hikaru's room to have a little conversation to him.
"Mom was worried. She wanted me to asked you if what was wrong and why you are acting like this." Hayna told him as she sit down on Hikaru's bed.
"Nothing."
"Do you want me to cut your head? Obviously, you are not fine at all. Why don't you just tell me what's wrong. Maybe I can help you, is this about studies? Friends? Love life? Dai-chan?" Hayna said one at a time and when Hikaru heard Daiki's name it seems like something lighted on his face making Hayna think that she pointed out the problem behind. "Dai-chan."
"No."
"You can't hide things from me lil bro. And so, what's problem with your childhood friend? Are you sad that he will going to study abroad and you will have separate ways after high school?"
"Yo...you knew as well?"
"About him going abroad?" Hayna asked. "Of course I am. Everyone knew about it."
"Not me." Hikaru replied her. "I didn't know about it. I don’t have any idea that he was planning to go university outside of the country. He never mentioned that to me and he… he left me out."
"is that what you are worrying about? Your sulking because Dai-chan didn't tell you about his plans in life?"
"Of course… Nee-chan, I am his best friend. He should tell me first before anyone else but what… I just knew it to someone else."
"Before I comment on that… I just noticed, the two of you are fighting aren't you? I mean, Dai-chan didn't go here as frequent as before and then you don't go to their house and talk to him. Tell me honestly, what is going on between the two of you?"
"Nothing, we just have… we just have little misunderstanding."
"Little misunderstanding will not result to this, you are with each other since young but Dai-chan left you out about his plans for his future, don't you think it's unfair? There is only one possible reason for him to do that to you and that is because he was so irritated about you or… he didn't want you to be part of his life anymore. It's either of those two I guess. But I wonder what did you do to make him have those options… you did something to him aren't you?"
“Nee-chan… do you think… me and Daiki… look good together.” Hikaru asked all of a sudden as he remembered the confession that Daiki told him.
“Yeah… it seems like you already have the same face because you are always together since young.”
“That is not what I mean… what I mean is that… as… lo…lov…lovers?” he tried his best to say the last words. Hikaru’s sister immediately stand up from where she is sitting down and that surprised HIkaru. “S…scratched what I just said… I don’t want to hear it… I don’t want to hear your answer anymore.”
“Wait Hikaru… I think… I think… you’re not.” She said as she sit down again back on the bed. “Besides is there a possibility that Daiki will like someone like you? Opposite of all the guys he dated? Also liking someone like you is so…so… hurting.”
“What do you mean?”
“You are not just childish and immature but you are also dense and slow. If ever Dai-chan like you, I don't think you will see it immediately and he will be left hurting unless he confess to you but… I don't think he will do that. I mean… Dai-chan is not a type of person who take risk, he always make sure that if ever he did he will gain what he wanted. I don't think he will gain something if he ever confess to you."
"What do you mean by that?" Hikaru asked again, raising his right eyebrow while staring at Hayna.
"You are not like him right? You are not into men." Hayna pointed out. "For a homo, it's really hard to fall in love with a straight guy specially if it is someone special to you and you don't want him to be gone on your side. He didn't want you to feel disgusted of him. Being hated by someone you like the most, it's the most painful feeling human can possible feel."
"A…am I that stupid?" Hikaru whispered as he sit down besides his sister. "Am I the one at fault? Did I… hurt him?"
"What are you talking about?" Hayna asked him back. she stands up and walk straight to Hikaru's door. "I need to sleep now, I still have job tomorrow. But whatever problems the two of you have I hope you will fix it soon. To be honest, it's not good in the eye, to see the two you being like this. Good night." she said while she locked Hikaru's door.
Hikaru lay on his bed and look up at the empty ceiling. He sigh and then raised his right hand trying to reach out the lampshade. "But… I don't… I really don’t think it was disgusting."

In Kota's vague memories of his past, there was a little boy taller than him who always call him Kou-chan. How he looks like was unknown but he knew that they were always together. He felt happy and satisfied whenever they were with each other and whenever their hands held it seems like he doesn't want to let go. It's the only memories that were left on him upon waking up from that coma. He asked his mother if there was a boy who was always with him when he was still a kid and then she introduced Yuto to him, saying that he was his best friend that he was seeing in his memories. Kota was not sure when he first saw Yuto, they just look at each other's eyes as if observing one and another waiting for someone to say something first. Yuto broke the agony and called him Kou-chan, same way as the boy in his past did. Since then, the two became close to each other until it reach the point where Yuto became the only one Kota rely on. He falls in love with him, they dated and then all of a sudden Yuto vanished from his sight.
In those times that they were together he always noticed that there was something wrong with Yuto's actions towards him. They were together, they talk normally to each other and they don't hide secrets but he knew that Yuto was bothered by something he can't tell. He always have this expressions on his face that was sad and sometimes in pain and that really made him worry. But Yuto never opened a topic that can offend him, he talk to him like he was choosing his words to say. He was hiding something but he never bother asking about it because he have a feeling that if he did, things will be ruined between them.
"Kota." Kei called him so many times already but he was not listening to him. He just suddenly comes back to his senses when Kei flick him on his forehead. "Are you now sane?" he asked him to confirm but Kota suddenly touch his face gently. His warm hands caressing his face.
"Did you loss weight?" Kota asked him. "You also look paler than usual… are you eating well?"
"Of course I am." Kei answered him. "It seems like you are imagining things. Your assignment by the way… Ryo is waiting for you to pass it." Kota flip his book and then he give Kei the piece of paper that is inside it. "What's wrong? It seems like you were thinking so deep."
"Actually I have a reunion tonight."
"Reunion… with whom?"
"Former classmates from Hokkaido. They said that they will come here and they want to see me and Yu…Yuto." Kota answered. "But I am not sure if I want to go… I am not really close to them."
"Why don't you go? It seems fun." Kei told him. "They will come to Tokyo just to meet the two of you. It just means that they really miss you so much. You have nothing to do right? You also don't have meeting for your agency and so…"
"It's bothersome and also Yuto was there…"
"I don't see… anything wrong with that."
Kota pinched Kei's right cheek while raising his right eyebrow. "Are you not jealous at all? Yuto is my ex-boyfriend and me being with him together with my other friends…"
"But I don't think you will cheat on me." Kei muttered. "but it's a different story if you will really do it."
Kota sigh and let go of Kei's cheek. "Alright, I'll go if you will come with me."
"Huh? No… I mean I can't… it's your reunion not mine."
"Others said that they will bring their special someone and so why don't I bring mine? With you around, I don't think I will be bored." Kota told him. "If you will not go then I guess I will not go as well."
"Kota… don't give me the work to decide on this."
"Sorry but I already did." Kota give him an evil smile and Kei just pouted and then sighed.
"Alright… I'll come but with one condition." Kei told him.

Daiki, Roa and Linda were going to the club room when Linda saw Yuto in the front gate and talking to a guy who was taller and bigger than him. She called the other two's attention and they take a look at the two. Daiki knew that it was the guy that Yuto was dating and someone who he really don't like since he first met him. Roa also thought that he was a scary guy and she wonder why Yuto was dating someone like him coz she felt that their personally clashed each other.
Yuto and his boyfriend exited the gate and went somewhere and so the three resume what they are doing when they are disturbed by another guy from basketball club named Jean. He a heartthrob and all girl's apple of the eye but Roa and Linda noticed that he always visit Daiki in the club room and even to his classroom.
"Arioka, can we eat together after club activity? I'll wait for you in the gate." he asked him.
"Alright… I'll accept if it is your treat." Daiki told him.
"Okay… everything with me. I'll wait for you then." Jean said and after he run back to the gymnasium where his club is practicing.
"Jean is hitting on you?" Roa asked Daiki after the tall guy left them alone. "Wow… I didn't know he swing that way."
"Really? I think it's already obvious from the very beginning. But don't worry… I really don't have plan on dating him. Just playing along but not going to a relationship." Daiki answered with a flirty tone of voice.
"You should be careful on him." Linda advised.

Ryosuke was busy looking at Yuya's magazine when his mother knocked on the door of his room and said that he have visitor waiting for him outside. He immediately went down, wondering who was that unexpected visitor at late night. He went outside of their house wearing a jacket and look for that someone who was not actually around. "There is no one here… Mom… there is no…" Ryosuke said but he stopped when something hit his head and it is a piece of paper crumpled like a ball. He stretch it and there is something written on it.
MEET ME AT THE PARK.
-Yuya-
"What is he planning to do?" Ryosuke whispered to himself. "Mom, I'm just going out for a moment." he said and then he run towards the park. This is what he didn't like about himself. He wanted to forget about Yuya, to not get involve about him but then whenever he was coming closer he miss him so much and wanted to see him. He finally reach the park where he saw Yuya in the swing and alone. Ryosuke approach him and he also ride the other side of the swing. "Wh..what do you need from me?"
"I just want to see your face." Yuya answered.
"Don't joke with me."
"But it's true… you know that I am not in school for few days right? I have lots of things to do and so… I can't find time to see you. Actually I just escape from work and went here just to see your face."
Ryosuke felt touch by Yuya's words but he knew it was wrong. He stand up and then look at Yuya. "If this is only what you will tell me then… I'll go back home." he said but before he leave Yuya grab his hand.
"Before you go, listen to me."
"What else do you want to tell me?"
"I will be busy from now on. I will work as a model and at the same time I will debut as a singer. My schedule will be book and there will be lesser time to see and talk to you but… Ryo I want you to remember that I am not giving up. I am still aiming for you to say that you still love me."
"I told you… I.. I am not in love with you anymore. That time that we talk to each other… things ended there."
"I don't believe you though… if you are not in love with me then why are you blushing? It's fine if you are doing this as a revenge… I know you are hurt that time that I am still a naïve guy who didn't know the truth I'll accept it but I will not give up… not now. Each and everyday I am realizing, that you are really important to me. Ryo… I really love you and this time I am serious so… let me open the door to your heart again."
"H…how can you say such corny words." Ryosuke uttered. "I…I'm going. Bye." he said as he covered his mouth. He can't hide it, he knew it was obvious that he was blushing. Yuya's words, how long did he want to hear it from him. after running and finally reaching their gate, he stop and then he sit down on the cement plant plot. "Why are you so late? Why only now? I am not sure anymore what to do."

"Hika, put the trash outside." his mother ordered him and so he pick up the trash bags and went out of the house and put it near the gate. That time he saw Daiki together with a guy and they were approaching to his house. He immediately hide himself from the bushes of their small garden. Daiki and Jean stop by the gate of his house and they were laughing. Hikaru sneak a look from the small holes of the plant and observed the two. That tall guy was a new face to him and he never been Daiki's boyfriend before. They are talking about someone from their school and some stupid thing that he do. They look so close to each other and Hikaru felt irritated all of a sudden. He didn't want to watch it anymore when he heard something different and when he turned back he saw Jean kissing Daiki already.
He knew Daiki's pettish on men. He knew that he is dating anyone that he was interested in. He was cute and small and so there is no doubt that those people will like him back. He also knew that Daiki never have a serious relationship, even he broke up with someone it seems like normal to him. He never saw him cry, he never saw him depressed, it was totally different when that time that he was drunk and then that teary eyes that he have when he finally confirmed the truth to him.
When he first heard Daiki's feelings towards him, he was shocked. He never thought that Daiki likes him after how he treated him, how he talk to him, how he interact with him. He doesn't show any sign that he have affection towards him and so it never reach his mind at all. All these time he just thought that they are just best friends and will stay like that forever. If he is feeling this way since it all started then the reason why he transferred to school is because of him? Because he was in pain because he is a stupidly slow individual who can't understand what people thought? All these time that he treat Daiki as a friend, he was always in pain because of his lack of sense towards other people.
"Why did you do that?" Daiki asked to Jean.
"I like you." Jean confessed. "I like you Arioka so… can we…can we be together?"
Don't agree.
"I can't give you an answer to that. We just knew each other."
"So you mean if we have more time to knew each other then… there is a possibility."
"Probably."
"Alright… see you tomorrow then." Jean said as he patted Daiki's head. Daiki wave his hand as he watch Jean walk away. He is about to go back home when he heard the rustle of the bushes but he just ignored it.
This sucks… didn't you like me?

Kota and Kei stood in front of the party bar where the reunion was held. They were already late for the time schedule since they still need to talk to Kei's mother for her permission which ended up in a long conversation between Kota and her.
"I don't understand why we need to do this?" Kota asked Kei who was standing parallel besides him.
"It's a deal Kota, you promised."
"But I don't get the point. I don't care if everyone knows."
"It's for the best. Let's hide that we are in relationship and pretend that we are just friends." Kei said.

Daiki, Roa and Linda were going to the club room when Linda saw Yuto in the front gate and talking to a guy who was taller and bigger than him. She called the other two's attention and they take a look at the two. Daiki knew that it was the guy that Yuto was dating and someone who he really don't like since he first met him. Roa also thought that he was a scary guy and she wonder why Yuto was dating someone like him coz she felt that their personally clashed each other.
Yuto and his boyfriend exited the gate and went somewhere and so the three resume what they are doing when they are disturbed by another guy from basketball club named Jean. He a heartthrob and all girl's apple of the eye but Roa and Linda noticed that he always visit Daiki in the club room and even to his classroom.
"Arioka, can we eat together after club activity? I'll wait for you in the gate." he asked him.
"Alright… I'll accept if it is your treat." Daiki told him.
"Okay… everything with me. I'll wait for you then." Jean said and after he run back to the gymnasium where his club is practicing.
"Jean is hitting on you?" Roa asked Daiki after the tall guy left them alone. "Wow… I didn't know he swing that way."
"Really? I think it's already obvious from the very beginning. But don't worry… I really don't have plan on dating him. Just playing along but not going to a relationship." Daiki answered with a flirty tone of voice.
"You should be careful on him." Linda advised.

Ryosuke was busy looking at Yuya's magazine when his mother knocked on the door of his room and said that he have visitor waiting for him outside. He immediately went down, wondering who was that unexpected visitor at late night. He went outside of their house wearing a jacket and look for that someone who was not actually around. "There is no one here… Mom… there is no…" Ryosuke said but he stopped when something hit his head and it is a piece of paper crumpled like a ball. He stretch it and there is something written on it.
MEET ME AT THE PARK.

"What is he planning to do?" Ryosuke whispered to himself. "Mom, I'm just going out for a moment." he said and then he run towards the park. This is what he didn't like about himself. He wanted to forget about Yuya, to not get involve about him but then whenever he was coming closer he miss him so much and wanted to see him. He finally reach the park where he saw Yuya in the swing and alone. Ryosuke approach him and he also ride the other side of the swing. "Wh..what do you need from me?"
"I just want to see your face." Yuya answered.
"Don't joke with me."
"But it's true… you know that I am not in school for few days right? I have lots of things to do and so… I can't find time to see you. Actually I just escape from work and went here just to see your face."
Ryosuke felt touch by Yuya's words but he knew it was wrong. He stand up and then look at Yuya. "If this is only what you will tell me then… I'll go back home." he said but before he leave Yuya grab his hand.
"Before you go, listen to me."
"What else do you want to tell me?"
"I will be busy from now on. I will work as a model and at the same time I will debut as a singer. My schedule will be book and there will be lesser time to see and talk to you but… Ryo I want you to remember that I am not giving up. I am still aiming for you to say that you still love me."
"I told you… I.. I am not in love with you anymore. That time that we talk to each other… things ended there."
"I don't believe you though… if you are not in love with me then why are you blushing? It's fine if you are doing this as a revenge… I know you are hurt that time that I am still a naïve guy who didn't know the truth I'll accept it but I will not give up… not now. Each and everyday I am realizing, that you are really important to me. Ryo… I really love you and this time I am serious so… let me open the door to your heart again."
"H…how can you say such corny words." Ryosuke uttered. "I…I'm going. Bye." he said as he covered his mouth. He can't hide it, he knew it was obvious that he was blushing. Yuya's words, how long did he want to hear it from him. after running and finally reaching their gate, he stop and then he sit down on the cement plant plot. "Why are you so late? Why only now? I am not sure anymore what to do."

"Hika, put the trash outside." his mother ordered him and so he pick up the trash bags and went out of the house and put it near the gate. That time he saw Daiki together with a guy and they were approaching to his house. He immediately hide himself from the bushes of their small garden. Daiki and Jean stop by the gate of his house and they were laughing. Hikaru sneak a look from the small holes of the plant and observed the two. That tall guy was a new face to him and he never been Daiki's boyfriend before. They are talking about someone from their school and some stupid thing that he do. They look so close to each other and Hikaru felt irritated all of a sudden. He didn't want to watch it anymore when he heard something different and when he turned back he saw Jean kissing Daiki already.
He knew Daiki's pettish on men. He knew that he is dating anyone that he was interested in. He was cute and small and so there is no doubt that those people will like him back. He also knew that Daiki never have a serious relationship, even he broke up with someone it seems like normal to him. He never saw him cry, he never saw him depressed, it was totally different when that time that he was drunk and then that teary eyes that he have when he finally confirmed the truth to him.
When he first heard Daiki's feelings towards him, he was shocked. He never thought that Daiki likes him after how he treated him, how he talk to him, how he interact with him. He doesn't show any sign that he have affection towards him and so it never reach his mind at all. All these time he just thought that they are just best friends and will stay like that forever. If he is feeling this way since it all started then the reason why he transferred to school is because of him? Because he was in pain because he is a stupidly slow individual who can't understand what people thought? All these time that he treat Daiki as a friend, he was always in pain because of his lack of sense towards other people.
"Why did you do that?" Daiki asked to Jean.
"I like you." Jean confessed. "I like you Arioka so… can we…can we be together?"
Don't agree.
"I can't give you an answer to that. We just knew each other."
"So you mean if we have more time to knew each other then… there is a possibility."
"Probably."
"Alright… see you tomorrow then." Jean said as he patted Daiki's head. Daiki wave his hand as he watch Jean walk away. He is about to go back home when he heard the rustle of the bushes but he just ignored it.
This sucks… didn't you like me?

Kota and Kei stood in front of the party bar where the reunion was held. They were already late for the time schedule since they still need to talk to Kei's mother for her permission which ended up in a long conversation between Kota and her.
"I don't understand why we need to do this?" Kota asked Kei who was standing parallel besides him.
"It's a deal Kota, you promised."
"But I don't get the point. I don't care if everyone knows."
"It's for the best. Let's hide that we are in relationship and pretend that we are just friends." Kei said.
