SUMMARY: Kota transfer university from Tokyo U. to Meiji U.. Everyone thinks that he is crazy about his decision but our protagonist has his reason why he decided to do it. He meet new friends like Yuya who is his roommate in the dormitory where he is living and Hikaru who is his classmates and also Kei who is famously known because of some falsified rumors.

Chapter 7
Kei start to panic, he is not expecting it. He feels that Kota is acting weird last night in their confrontation but he didn't think that Kota knows about it already. Now, he didn't know what to do and more likely he didn't know how to face Kota at all. But if Kota really knows about it then why he is not saying it to him? He is searching for him right? He even went to their school just to search for him but he is not saying it to him directly. Maybe he is not discovered yet. Kota is just clinging on some false hope but then if he have already the necklace then why do he put it on the study table? Did he know that it is his own? Yeah, he told him about the description last night about the necklace.
He is trying to connect all things and Yuya who is just sitting down besides him are just watching him from his position.
Kei is sure that Kota didn't try to search so Yuya has a point that maybe Kota have it, then why did he put it in the study table instead of giving it to him? What does Kota wanted to imply by that actions?
An idea suddenly pop up on Kei's mind that he stand up from where he is sitting down and gasped. "H...he is testing it? If i get the necklace that means that it is me he is looking for."
"What are you talking about?" Yuya asked Kei when he suddenly blurted something he can't understand.
"I need to go back to the dormitory. He is asleep when i get the necklace so he didn't saw it but... What if he check it before he goes to school? He knows already that i get it? This is the worst... What should i do? I... I don't want to go back to the dormitory." he told blurted out again which make Yuya confuse more. "Yuya... i...I'm not going to the dormitory for a while. I...i will stay with a friend so just tell Kota about it."
"Hey, Kei what are you talking about?"
"I don't want to see Kota." Kei answered and then he immediately run away.
Kei runs away even he can hear Yuya calling his name. He is not feeling good at all, now the secret that he is hiding is already revealed and for sure Kota will not leave his side and will pursue on him. He knows that Kota is kind enough to spare him about the money that he get to him but the fact that he hide the truth to him even though he knows that he is the one he is looking for is something that is not hard to forgive. He knows how serious Kota is about searching for him but he just ignore it and act as if it is nothing and of course if he is in Kota's shoe then he will act the same thing about it.
"This is crazy, is this my worst day? I am so stupid... What should i do now?" Kei asked himself as he walk down the street. He is not paying attention that he didn't know that there is someone in front of him and he bump into it. The books that that guy is holding drop down the ground making Kei in panic. "I...I'm sorry... I'm really sorry." he said repeatedly. He kneel down and help that guy get the books that fall down.
"Are you alright? You seems like worried." that someone asked him and Kei is surprised to see a young man who looks like a high school boy.
"I'm fine, I'm really sorry." Kei told him.
"Ne, can you help me? I can't handle all these books towards the national library and the car that i am using suddenly malfunction and so i need to deliver them alone. Well.... That is if you are not busy at all."
"Well i don't mind besides i don't have something to do at all." Kei get some of the books and then start walking towards the national library.
"By the way I am Daiki Arioka and you are?"
"Kei Inoo."
"Your name sounds smart, i am a psychology student at Tokyo University."
"Eh? Y...you're a university student?"
"Yeah? Why? I don't look like one?"
"I thought you are a high school student. Sorry for that." Kei answered with embarrassment.
"It's alright, it's not you the first one who mistaken me but still what's wrong with people. Do i really look like a high school student? I am just small but i know i look mature enough."
"I came from Meiji University, Architecture Department."
"Eh? Really? You are the same with Kota."
"K...Kota?"
"One of my friend transfer to Meiji University to look for someone. He is stupid ne? From Tokyo U to Meiji U. Just to find someone who he can't remember. Maybe that's how magical love is." Daiki answered. "Since you are an architecture student then did you meet him? Kota Yabu?"
Kei was surprised by just hearing that name. Is he talking about Kota Yabu? The guy he didn't want to see the most at this moment of his life? They reach the national library before Kei answer that question. They give the books to the girl in the front office and then after that Daiki thanks him for helping him with those books. Ones done, he invited Kei to eat something as a sign of appreciation for the help that he did. Since Daiki persist he feels that it is bad to decline to an offer and so they two of them went to a nearby coffee shop and have a snack.
"Are you about to say something a while back? Before we reach the national library?"
"O....oh yeah. I know him, Kota Yabu. He is a guy who suddenly transfer in our university even he already came from Tokyo U and even a different department. Everyone think he is crazy or stupid and then he keeps on bragging other people about someone. He is searching for someone in our university." Kei answered.
"Well it's true that Kota is stupid for doing that but he has reasons so you can't help it." Daiki answered him. "I know that he is searching for that someone who has an initial of K.I. Who's gender is unknown. At first i thought why is he making so much effort in searching for that someone? That someone who he can't remember at all, that someone who just suddenly pop in just almost 3 minutes of his life and still he is chasing after him."
"Maybe that someone stole something from him and so he is chasing after it."
"He doesn't mention about it."
"What do you mean? He is chasing that someone just because he wanted it?"
"No... I think... Kota falls in love for the first time."

"Kei didn't attend our second class." a girl sitting near Kota's seat said.
"I saw him running away a while back, maybe his boyfriend called him so he immediately leave. He is such a slut he can sacrifice studies for a guy." another girl commented on it. "But even he absent he is still smart and that just pisses me off."
Kota stand up from where he is sitting down and then went out of the room, Hikaru followed him in the corridor. "Kota, where are you going?"
"I wonder where did Kei go?"
"Are you worried?"
"Of course, Kei went back yesterday with wounds. Kumi hit him, that just make me more worried about him." Kota answered.
Hikaru stare at Kota for a moment, he knows that Kota is kind to everyone but the way he treated Kei is totally different from others. "Tell me honestly, why are you so desperate searching for that guy who's initial is K.I.? It's kinda weird that you are searching for him, sacrificing so many things just to look for him and now that you know who it is what's next?"
Kota stop walking leaving Hikaru to stop as well. "I live in a sheltered house with a comfortable life. Everything is provided, anything that i wanted is given to me. That time that I went with my friends to the bar that was my first time and i was really drunk but I didn't regret it, I like that feeling. I am glad that something new suddenly happened to my life and then he came, rescuing me from those guys tempting to do something bad. It's the first time someone stand for my sake though i can't remember his face i felt like i fall for him for the first time."

"Huh?" Kei asked in surprised. Did he hear it right? Falls in love? "W...wait A...are you sure about that? I don't think it is like that though... Th...there is no way it could be like that right?"
"What do you think else could be the reason huh?" Daiki asked him back. "He can sacrificed everything just to see that someone, only one thing can do that and that is love. Love can control everything, it makes people blind and unaware of their surroundings, it can make people selfish and something greedy but what is important is that it can make people happy especially if the feeling is mutual. I am sure that it is what Kota is feeling right now."
"No, there are still possible things."

"Kota is following that guy because he stole some money to him. That someone is a thief who get money to his wallet without asking. He take the opportunity to do that and then leave him alone. It is a large amount of money and so..."
"Eh?" Daiki uttered. "Kota didn't mention about losing some of his money."

"The story that he told me... He never mention about a money stole from him if ever then maybe... Those guy who wanted to kidnap him get it."

"Why are you being persistent? How did you know that those guys didn't get his money?"
Kei stand up from where he is sitting down and then grab his bag. "Coz it is me that guy he is searching. It is me who save him from those kidnappers and then stole money away from him. It is me the guy that he is searching for. Thanks for the treat but i must go." he told him and then he runs away. Daiki is about to follow him but when he start to move Kei totally vanished from his sight.
"I wonder if he is telling the truth." Daiki whispered.

"You are in love with him? Y...you are in love with Kei?" Hikaru asked in surprised.
"How will i say it? At first it is a affection, i really wanted to see that someone who saves me and i don't care who it is as long as i can meet him/her and thank him/her for what he or she have done until it came to a point that i wanted someone to be that person and i wishes it is really him. It came a time that what is on my mind suddenly came true, the guy that i am interested with and that someone i am looking for are the same person but the fact that he is trying his best to hide it from me is something i can't understand and now a days i feel like he is avoiding me and so i feel bad. I am chasing after him but he keeps on running away."
"and so you are planning to corner him so that he can't escape anymore from you? Aren't you thinking something bad? Maybe he has his reasons why he is running away from you."
"But what? I don't understand until he tell me."
"If he tell you, you will know who he really is or maybe it is because about his boyfriend."

"There is no way right? There is no way Kota could be in love with me? a...and he forget about the money? Isn't that great? B...but still i can't just see him at all. I don't have the courage to see him at this very moment. I don't know how I will going to face him. I need to go back to the dormitory, to get some of changing clothes and i will have an overnight with a friend." Kei decided to go back to the dormitory and since he knows when Kota is going back to their room he make sure that he will get the time that the two will not meet each other to avoid anything that could happen.
As he arrived he tried to check his surroundings, it is better if he is alert or else it will lead to his failure. He asked the dorm master if Kota already arrived and he said that he didn't yet. He feels relief and just go straight to his room but he jolted when he saw Kota standing in front of the door of their room.
"K...Kota." he whispered.
Kota stared at him and then he smiled and greeted him normally as if nothing happened. Kei is frozen to his position, he can't move backward to escape or forward to get his things.
"I...i will have overnight with my friends. I am just back to get some of my stuffs."
"Kei...i wanted to asked you something before that."
"Huh? C...can't that wait? I am really in a rush..." Kei stammered, he tried his best to move his body so that he can go forward but before he escape from Kota's vision the taller guy grab his hand and then push him on the wall. Kei gasped as his back hit the wall and when he look in front he is shocked to see Kota's face near him.
"A...are you hiding something from me?"
"Eh?"
"Stop denying already. I know it... It is you...that someone i am looking for. That someone that saves me that night."
"Huh? W..what are you talking about? It is not me, you are making a mistake there."
"Stop lying anymore." Kota shouted back on him and Kei was shocked. He knew it, Kota knows the truth already but still he wanted to deny it specially that he know the reasons behind. Fall in love? Kota is love with him? To someone like him? Is he insane? Crazy? Stupid? But why is he running away? Kota didn't know about the money being stolen and the reason he is chasing after him is because of that feeling called "love" which is not really sure at all. It is a conclusion formulated by a third party who is just concerned with the situation. But what will he do if it is really like that? What if Kota is really in love with him? What will he do?
"I am not lying, it is true. How can you say that it is me?" Kei asked him back. He slap Kota's hand away that is touching his shoulder and then glare at him. He start walking away from him and went straight to their room but before he entered his room his phone suddenly ring and it is an unfamiliar number. He answered the call but at first no one is responding back.
"That night, i asked that someone to borrow his cellphone to call a friend to help me that night. That number used is registered on the receive call on my friend's cellphone and so... Why are you still denying it when it is really you. K.I. Means Kei Inoo and he is you."
