TITLE: Yoru to Hanabi

SUMMARY: "To forget about your first love you should find a new love.". Kei is suffering from a great heart break coz his first love, the guy he fell head over heels will going to marry. In order to forget about his old failed romance he needs to find another love but what will he do if there are more than one that comes to his life?

Chapter 7
I am glad, seems like the new project is pushing through. At least it is not rejected this time. I will do my best to the report so that everything will be fine. But ones the project is accepted then that means i don't have more time to hang around but I think it's' alright. It's better, I'll make myself busy so that i can forget about Yuya as much as possible. Though he is the president of the company that I am working with but we don't see that much actually, he is also busy with other stuffs. As much as possible i need to make myself away from him so that i can't feel down. I will focus on my work and that's it. No more love, i don't want to love yet.
"Kei-chan." a voice called from the back. He turns around and then saw Kaito and Yuya together. Kaito is Kei's big brother who is in the same age as Yuya. He is the heir of their company until his father leave the position. He is working there as an assistant vice president of finance.
When i just said i don't want to see Yuya at this moment why is this happening?
Kaito and Yuya approach him and then greeted each other. Kaito tap Kei-chan's head and then smiled. "Mom was right, you are getting thinner. Are you not eating? Kei-chan you are working in a food company why don't you have a taste of what you are serving right?"
"Stop joking, nii-chan. By the way, why are you here?" Kei asked him.
"Yeah, it is the same thing i want to asked. You suddenly show yourself in my office and drag me here coz you wanted Kei to hear what you are supposed to tell to me." Yuya said.
"Let us have a party tonight." Kaito introduced. "I will not be around the wedding day and i feel really sad about it. I want to see Yuya wearing that white clothes as he waited for his wife walk down the aisle. I wanted to see it personally but my work sucks and so i want to have a party tonight since i am available and that will be the last party that Yuya will have before he enter the world of marriage right?"
"How come you are the one making decision. It should be Yuya right?"
"Well there is nothing wrong with it. Honestly i am planning the same thing but i just don't know how to invite everyone because they are busy at work." Yuya answered. "But since Kaito wanted it then maybe everyone of our friends will come and join us."
"Alright, that settles it. The place will be Kei's new apartment. It is wide enough for everyone. I will be the one responsible for the food and the drinks. Oh do you want to invite some girls? "
"No I want it to be a guys bonding only."
"Wa...wait, nii-chan why it should be in my apartment? We can do it in our house." Kei resisted, he doesn't want to destroy the peaceful atmosphere in that apartment.
"That's boring Kei-chan, i wanted it to be in your apartment so any arguments are invalid. Besides i already invited everyone of our friends and i give that address. It will be a problem if the venue suddenly change in the last minute but maybe i can i just tell that Kei-cha is the one at fault. I am sure they will curse you to death." Kaito said with a smirk on his face.
"Alright fine... But you know that Yutti is there right? If you will be noisy then he can't sleep so what do you want to do with him?" Kei asked.
"Is that a problem? Let us make him joined us."
"You didn't get it at all."
What should i do? Nii-chan suddenly deciding on his own. What is he thinking? It is not his apartment, he is not the one paying for it. Maybe i should inform Yutti about it, it's not right at all to joined him in such kind of party. For sure they will only talk about this and that and then drink till they get insane and he invited those old friends of us. Ahhh... Brother is really a pain in the ass. He is just like mom sometimes. I don't understand why my family is insane and crazy. B...but wait... I didn't know Yutti's email how am i going to tell it to him? We are living in the same apartment but we didn't know each other's contact number. What if something happened to him? I am older than him so i am responsible to him. Maybe he is still there i will just call the landline.
"Hello, who is this?" Yuto asked.
"This is Kei, Yutti some of my friends will going there to have a party." Kei told him.
"I know." he answered back.
"You know? How?"
"Well, Kaito-san came here and told me about his plans. I am now cleaning the apartment and moving some stuffs so that the common area would have a wide space."
"Really? Then... If you want you can stay in a hotel for the night. I am sure that we will use the apartment for the whole night so..."
"There is no need Kei-nii, I'll be fine. Besides i'm going to join the party too. Kaito-san said that the food will be delicious and so i want to try it. I need to hang up already i need to continue cleaning before the visitors start to come. See you later."
Yuto end the call and Kei is left stunned. His brother is too fast when it comes to this stuffs. With that he doesn't have any choice anymore and just ride to the flow. After the work Kei is on his way home when Yuya stop him. "Let's go together with your apartment."
"Eh? I can go with the train."
"But it is faster if your ride in my car besides we have the same direction so it is not a problem at all. I heard that some of our friend are already there and they are waiting for us."
"I... I need to buy something before going home so i really can't... You can go first Yuya, i am sure nii-chan is there as well. See you later then." Kei told him and then he run away. Yuya just watch him as he totally vanish from his sight.
As much as possible i don't want to be left alone with him. It will just make my feeling worst But I wonder if he noticed that i am avoiding him. Well i guess this is better. If I just saw his face my heart start to beat faster that means that i am still in love with him. If i avoid him then there is a possibility that i can forget this feelings for him.
Kei went to a nearby shopping area, he plans on buying gift for Yuya's wedding since he doesn't have time tomorrow to do it. His mother told him that she will provide them but still he wanted to buy his own gift with own money. He looks around thinking that those guys will not be mad if ever he will be late on the party. He tried buying wedding gifts before since his colleagues are one by one holding their weddings but he always bought the same thing for them and that is a tea cup set.
I wonder what should I buy? Buying the same thing is not the good idea. It is my... First love wedding so it should be something... Should i forget about it and leave it to my mother? N...no, that is not the right setting of mind that i should adopt. I may look obvious, i should buy something... Something special for the two of them.
"Kei-san." someone called his name and when he take a look it is Sayaka with a friend. She leave her friend for a while and then approach him. "Why are you here? I thought you will have a party for Yuya today."
"Y...you know?" Kei asked her.
"Of course, he called me and then said that Kaito-san planned it all." Sayaka answered. "So why are you here? Doing some shopping?"
"Yeah sort of... It's alright to be late besides it is my own apartment where they are doing the party." Kei replied back. "Sayaka, are you excited? 2 days from now you will be Sayaka Takaki."
"Well, how should i say it. I feel so many emotions just thinking about it. I am happy, excited, sad, thrilled, afraid. They said that its normal to feel that way when you will going to marry but all in all i am really excited. I am happy that i can be one with Yuya soon."
What should i tell here? What should i respond to here?
"E...everything's gonna be fine. Yuya choose you so trust him. He is a good guy, he stick to his words though sometimes he is emotional it is just easy to catch his attention. He is someone who thinks first for others rather than himself, he is loved by many people because of that but even though he proves that he can lead the company and be the best president he can be at a young age. He is great, I...i idolized him."
"You know a lot about Yuya ne."
Of course... I know every inch of him.
"Well we are childhood friends so i know about that."
"I know, Yuya always talk about you as well and because of that i feel that i know you as well. You are a very special friend to him and he really hope that you will be happy in your life. There are times that i feel jealous of you since Yuya is always talking about you but i understand already why. Kei-san, thank you for taking care of Yuya when he is depressed about his family problem. Thank you for supporting him all that time. If you are not there then maybe he is not the Yuya that i know now. He told me everything that you cheered him up when he is down, he owe you everything, so... I am thankful to you too. Thank you very much." Sayaka said instantly that Kei didn't know how to react. She vow her heads lower and it really proves that she is really thankful for everything.
Even he is thankful to me, he still doesn't chooses me. Even he feels like he owe me, he didn't pick me up. I feel defeated, i feel bad. It's not you who should be jealous, it should be me. I am so jealous that he chooses you, i am jealous that he always think about you, i am jealous because... Because he will going to marry you soon and live life forever.
"I...I'm sorry."
"Eh? Wh....why are you saying sorry?"
"I'm sorry..."
I'm sorry, i'm sorry Sayaka coz I defied you ones, I'm sorry coz i doubt that you can be a perfect partner with YUya, I'm sorry because i hate you for being so close to him. I'm sorry because i really didn't want you to be with him.
"Sayaka, promise me. Promise me that you will not leave Yuya. Promise me that you will take care of him for the rest of your life. Promise me that... Promise me that you will going to love him more than yourself."
Coz i did all those things, for his sake i did all those things but still i loss so now i accept my defeat... Yuya is all yours, Yuya is your own property now.
"I promise... I really promise." Sayaka answered him directly and after that conversation the two separate ways. In the end he didn't buy anything and just go back to his apartment where when he open the door he saw one of his friend named Jaz without a shirt and proudly showing to everyone his body that he work hard in his training as a mountain climber.
"Kei-chan is here, why are you so late. We are waiting for you." one of there friends again asked him and his name is Kamu who is now a instructor in a high school. "You didn't change at all, you are as pretty as you are."
"Yeah yeah...i agree. Though you look mature but you are still the princess of the group." Torika commented.
Kei sigh, everyone didn't change at all. They still treated him like they treated him before. He put his stuffs on his room and then change a clothes and went out and then he saw Yuto who is sneaking on taking a taste on the beer in the kitchen. He immediately approach him and tap his back and then look at him with a glare. "How many times i will tell you that you are still not allowed to drink." he told him.
"You are really the worst Kei-nii." Yuto commented on him. "What's wrong with tasting it?"
"No...no... If you want to drink then take soft drink. I told Nii-chan to buy something for you." Kei said and then he looks around to see where Kaito is but he is not around and even Yuya is not around as well. "Hey, everyone where is nii-chan and Yuya?"
"Eh? They are just here a while back right?" Akira answered as he looks around.
"I saw them." Yuto answered. "They went outside for a while to buy something. They are waiting for you a while back and they are bored since you didn't come yet. Where did you go by the way?"
"It's not your business anymore. By the way mom said that he already buy you a clothes that you will going to wear in the wedding so don't think about it. We will go at the same with my parents that day."
"Are you really planning on going?" Yuto asked him.
"Yeah..."
"Is that alright?"
"Yeah... I accept my defeat." Kei answered and then he went to where the other guys are and start talking to them. After that Yuya and Kaito arrived with more drinks and snacks. The conversation started and that room is filled with loud and noises. They also do some singing until everyone feels tired and exhausted. It is a party for Yuya coz the day after tomorrow is his big event.
Everyone is drunk and knock out, Kaito who is still sane help in sending his friends to where they are living and so as Yuya as well. When everyone left, it is Kaito who left first coz he needs to prepare for his flight tomorrow. Yuya and Kei sent him to his car and before he totally leave they had a little talk. "Ones i came back you will be a married man, Yuya. I am happy for you. I hope i can find a girl that i will fall in love as well."
"Of course you can, you are just not searching for it."
"Searching for love is tiring, i will just let it come to me." Kaito answered. "I'm going already. Take care... Kei-chan take care too. I'll be back after a week so i hope you are still alive that time."
"Ahh.... Shut up." Kei told him.
Kaito leave and now it is Yuya and him alone. "Then, Yuya see you tomorrow at work." Kei told him.
"Ne, Kei...are you avoiding me?" Yuya asked him out of the blue but his voice is serious and cold. "I just noticed that you make sure we are not alone together and so i...i thought about you avoiding me. Di...did i do something wrong? Are you mad at me? I...if i did something then... I'm sorry."
Eh? Wh...what is this? Wh....why is Yuya apologizing to me? He did nothing wrong. He did nothing so he must not say sorry to me.
"I...i am not mad at you. You didn't do anything wrong and of course i am not avoiding you. It's just coincidence, yeah it is." Kei answered him.
"If you said that way then i am happy that you are not mad at me. I noticed that since i announce the wedding to you, you change but maybe i am just mistaken. Maybe i am just nervous of knowing that soon i will get married already and my feelings are going twisted. I...i don't want you to hate me. I am really grateful that i meet you Kei, you've play a big role in my life... So... Please even i get married, please don't leave me alone." Yuya told him and then he hug Kei all of a sudden and that surprised Kei.
Y...Yuya... w...why? Why? Why?
Yuya let go and then he smiled at back at Kei." I am looking forward to your performance in the wedding. I'll be waiting for you." he said and then he ride his car and leave Kei alone.
Y...yo...you are so unfair, till the end you are so unfair. Shit... You are so cruel... You are so cruel... Till the end you are so unfair.
Kei went back to the apartment with a expressionless face. Yuto is done cleaning everything and the place is back to normal and as if nothing happened.
"Kei-nii, there are stuffs that is left by your friends. I didn't know who is who though." Yuto told him as he show Kei the watch, cellphone and a purse that he pick up while cleaning. But he didn't asked anymore when he saw Kei's face, tears are flowing from his eyes but his face has no emotion at all. "A...are you alright?"
"I...i love Yuya. I...i love him so much that... That i want to let go of him already. He will going to marry soon, he choose her over me but still he is unfair." Kei whispered. "Yuya is unfair... He is the cruellest among everyone."
"Kei-nii, what are you talking about?"
"Why did Yuya said those words?" Kei asked Yuto. "I...I already accepted my defeat but he said those words. He said that i should not leave him alone and then what? He is so unfair, saying those words as if it is nothing to him but to me it is precious. For the first time... I hated Yuya, I hated him because I love him so much." Kei continued and then he kneel down and cry. He sobbed and cried in front of Yuto.
I feel cold, i feel like my body is inside a fridge and I am not wearing anything. The coldness is piercing my body and i don't want to get out. But all of a sudden something warm touch my body. Something gentle touch my skin and something caress my hair. For some reason i love that feeling, it is so warm that i don't want it to go. It feels so great and it is melting my heart. I want to.... I want to stay like that forever.
"Kei-chan why are you so slow. We will be late." Aoi told Kei while he is fixing his hair. "Can't you fix that latter. You should wake up earlier. You know that you will play a big part in the wedding right? How come you be so reckless and sleep late."
"I told Yutti to wake me up, if you will going to blame someone then blame him." Kei told irritated.
"I wake you up Kei-nii but you are so sleeping so deep that whatever i do you are not waking up."
"Liar!" Kei shouted.
"Ahhh...so you know." Yuto replied back.
"Stop fighting you too. Come on Kei, papa can't come to the wedding ceremony but he is around the reception so i need to record everything that will happen and because of that we should not be late." Aoi said again.
"Alright... Alright I'm coming." Kei said and when he went out of the room Aoi grab his hand and drag him near her.
"Kei-chan, how old are you now? How come you can't tie this perfectly. Do you want to attend that wedding like that." Aoi asked him and then she undone it and repeat tying it. When she is done she hold a deep breathe and smiled "You will be fine right?"
"Yeah... I guess." Kei answered.
The 3 went inside the car and when it is about to depart he remembered that he forget something. "W...wait i forget my music sheet."
"It's here." Yuto answered and then he show it to him. "Kei-nii is so pathetic without me around."
"Shut up." Kei shouted on him. He get the music sheet and pretend to look at it. He sigh and then look at the window.

"No...no... If you want to drink then take soft drink. I told Nii-chan to buy something for you." Kei said and then he looks around to see where Kaito is but he is not around and even Yuya is not around as well. "Hey, everyone where is nii-chan and Yuya?"
"Eh? They are just here a while back right?" Akira answered as he looks around.
"I saw them." Yuto answered. "They went outside for a while to buy something. They are waiting for you a while back and they are bored since you didn't come yet. Where did you go by the way?"
"It's not your business anymore. By the way mom said that he already buy you a clothes that you will going to wear in the wedding so don't think about it. We will go at the same with my parents that day."
"Are you really planning on going?" Yuto asked him.
"Yeah..."
"Is that alright?"
"Yeah... I accept my defeat." Kei answered and then he went to where the other guys are and start talking to them. After that Yuya and Kaito arrived with more drinks and snacks. The conversation started and that room is filled with loud and noises. They also do some singing until everyone feels tired and exhausted. It is a party for Yuya coz the day after tomorrow is his big event.
Everyone is drunk and knock out, Kaito who is still sane help in sending his friends to where they are living and so as Yuya as well. When everyone left, it is Kaito who left first coz he needs to prepare for his flight tomorrow. Yuya and Kei sent him to his car and before he totally leave they had a little talk. "Ones i came back you will be a married man, Yuya. I am happy for you. I hope i can find a girl that i will fall in love as well."
"Of course you can, you are just not searching for it."
"Searching for love is tiring, i will just let it come to me." Kaito answered. "I'm going already. Take care... Kei-chan take care too. I'll be back after a week so i hope you are still alive that time."
"Ahh.... Shut up." Kei told him.
Kaito leave and now it is Yuya and him alone. "Then, Yuya see you tomorrow at work." Kei told him.
"Ne, Kei...are you avoiding me?" Yuya asked him out of the blue but his voice is serious and cold. "I just noticed that you make sure we are not alone together and so i...i thought about you avoiding me. Di...did i do something wrong? Are you mad at me? I...if i did something then... I'm sorry."
Eh? Wh...what is this? Wh....why is Yuya apologizing to me? He did nothing wrong. He did nothing so he must not say sorry to me.
"I...i am not mad at you. You didn't do anything wrong and of course i am not avoiding you. It's just coincidence, yeah it is." Kei answered him.
"If you said that way then i am happy that you are not mad at me. I noticed that since i announce the wedding to you, you change but maybe i am just mistaken. Maybe i am just nervous of knowing that soon i will get married already and my feelings are going twisted. I...i don't want you to hate me. I am really grateful that i meet you Kei, you've play a big role in my life... So... Please even i get married, please don't leave me alone." Yuya told him and then he hug Kei all of a sudden and that surprised Kei.
Y...Yuya... w...why? Why? Why?
Yuya let go and then he smiled at back at Kei." I am looking forward to your performance in the wedding. I'll be waiting for you." he said and then he ride his car and leave Kei alone.
Y...yo...you are so unfair, till the end you are so unfair. Shit... You are so cruel... You are so cruel... Till the end you are so unfair.
Kei went back to the apartment with a expressionless face. Yuto is done cleaning everything and the place is back to normal and as if nothing happened.
"Kei-nii, there are stuffs that is left by your friends. I didn't know who is who though." Yuto told him as he show Kei the watch, cellphone and a purse that he pick up while cleaning. But he didn't asked anymore when he saw Kei's face, tears are flowing from his eyes but his face has no emotion at all. "A...are you alright?"
"I...i love Yuya. I...i love him so much that... That i want to let go of him already. He will going to marry soon, he choose her over me but still he is unfair." Kei whispered. "Yuya is unfair... He is the cruellest among everyone."
"Kei-nii, what are you talking about?"
"Why did Yuya said those words?" Kei asked Yuto. "I...I already accepted my defeat but he said those words. He said that i should not leave him alone and then what? He is so unfair, saying those words as if it is nothing to him but to me it is precious. For the first time... I hated Yuya, I hated him because I love him so much." Kei continued and then he kneel down and cry. He sobbed and cried in front of Yuto.
I feel cold, i feel like my body is inside a fridge and I am not wearing anything. The coldness is piercing my body and i don't want to get out. But all of a sudden something warm touch my body. Something gentle touch my skin and something caress my hair. For some reason i love that feeling, it is so warm that i don't want it to go. It feels so great and it is melting my heart. I want to.... I want to stay like that forever.
"Kei-chan why are you so slow. We will be late." Aoi told Kei while he is fixing his hair. "Can't you fix that latter. You should wake up earlier. You know that you will play a big part in the wedding right? How come you be so reckless and sleep late."
"I told Yutti to wake me up, if you will going to blame someone then blame him." Kei told irritated.
"I wake you up Kei-nii but you are so sleeping so deep that whatever i do you are not waking up."
"Liar!" Kei shouted.
"Ahhh...so you know." Yuto replied back.
"Stop fighting you too. Come on Kei, papa can't come to the wedding ceremony but he is around the reception so i need to record everything that will happen and because of that we should not be late." Aoi said again.
"Alright... Alright I'm coming." Kei said and when he went out of the room Aoi grab his hand and drag him near her.
"Kei-chan, how old are you now? How come you can't tie this perfectly. Do you want to attend that wedding like that." Aoi asked him and then she undone it and repeat tying it. When she is done she hold a deep breathe and smiled "You will be fine right?"
"Yeah... I guess." Kei answered.
The 3 went inside the car and when it is about to depart he remembered that he forget something. "W...wait i forget my music sheet."
"It's here." Yuto answered and then he show it to him. "Kei-nii is so pathetic without me around."
"Shut up." Kei shouted on him. He get the music sheet and pretend to look at it. He sigh and then look at the window.

A/n: I didn't have a chance to update yesterday because we don't have internet access. When i thought i could update everyday T____T so far so good, the weather already calms down.
